Capping off the night was Vonzell Solomon, who gave us the second Alicia Keys song of the show with "If I Ain't Got You." There was nothing drastically wrong with the performance, but it came off as more of an imitation than as anything unique or interesting. And, while she's quite talented, Vonzell simply can't hold a candle to Alicia. This was a mistake for her, but she did well enough that it shouldn't be too hard to bounce back next time around.
It's tough to predict who'll be leaving tomorrow night. My predictions of Celena and Janay turned out to be dead wrong last week, but I still think that Janay really should be the next to go, and I hope America agrees with me. Celena may have bought herself some time with tonight's performance, so I think she may be safe for now. For lack of any better guess, I'll predict that we'll also be saying "Aloha!" to Aloha, if only because I can't see too many people clamoring for much more of her weirdly uneven vocal stylings.
Am I completely off base for the second week in a row? Or will I finally get a prediction right? We'll find out tomorrow night.
