I was looking at a list of upcoming talk show appearances, when I noticed one for Owen "Butterscotch Stallion" Wilson on the Tonight Show. Further down there is another listing for Owen "Butterscotch Stallion" on Conan O'Brien. The only show to omit this honorific was Ellen DeGeneres. I guess Ellen doesn't appreciate stallions. Hopefully this listing will get fixed before Owen sees it.
Well, here's to Owen Wilson and his new title. I'll be tuning in to find out anything I can about this new development.
July 8, 2005, he will appear on the Tonight Show
July 15, 2005, he will appear on Conan O'Brien
July 15, 2005, he will appear on Ellen DeGeneres

I've heard of Strawberry Roans before but never a "Butterscotch Stallion".
2 - Cerulean
Til now! Welcome, H.W.
3 - Dave Nalle
Does this pressage a new career in porn?

Did Owen Wilson come out of the closet? Butterscotch stallion sounds too gay to me.
5 - Cerulean
No,Silas no. Everyone is not gay! Not that again.
As to what this presages, maybe I should interview him and find out. I'm contemplating calling his publicist.

Can't a boy dream, Cerulean?
7 - RJ
Well, Butterscotch Stallion is certainly better than his old, unofficial nickname, the Talentless Dork With The Hideous Nose... :-/

Cerulean: A quick Google search for "butterscotch stallion" actually reveals quite a bit of information.

Interesting Google search. Also interesting that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson seem to share quite a bit. I smell a rat. What say you oh great Cerulean?

A blind article appeared in one of the supermarket rags that said a Hollywood actor had been given this nickname.
A couple of days later Howard Stern remarked about it (and mentioned how he disliked blind articles) on his radio show in an aside to Robin Quivers. A member of his crew (Benji, I think) suggested maybe it was Owen Wilson.
That's the journalism that went into this piece.
The blind article mentioned how the unnamed actor got this nickname. It is related to a heterosexual activity of his. You'll have to dig down the Stern tapes or the rag for more.

You don't need the Stern tapes for this. It's all over the gossip websites, and Wilson seems to be a willing participant in spreading the name, which apparently originated in a fan comment on the web and which he then picked up on.

Dave is correct on this one. Now, what's the Owen Wilson-Vince Vaughn connection? There are whispers in Hollywood. Come on, gossip whores, spill the beans.
13 - Cerulean
No Silas, no. It's not true.
So it's maybe based on um, activities, given to him by a fan. Based on where I saw it, I thought it was just something he made up for humor. He often creates stuff like that for his characters. Whatever the origin, I think it shows a lot of humor that he is using it. Disappointingly, Jay Leno did not bring this up on the tonight show. Once, again the mainstream media is supressing the truth.

The "butterscotch stallion" according to the Howard Stern Show was given to Olsen Wilson for braging about giving mouth-anal pleasure to his female partners for long periods of time.
15 - Marci Smith
No, he's a stallion in bed, and he tells girls they taste like butterscotch. I know.
16 - Cerulean
I prefer your explanation. I had just thought it was a reference to his coloring. Anyway I believe that this designation was meant to be lighthearted and my thread here was meant to be as well, and mostly was.
