About Schmidt

As Jack Nicholson has aged it seems to me he's been relying ever more on being Jack playing a particular character. He's finally transcended himself in the new movie About Schmidt. Go see it. It makes you remember why we loved Nicholson in the first place.

    Yes, he is a great actor, but I hated that movie. The movie purposely presents Denver, Kansas, and Nebraska as ugly places inhabited by extremely unattractive, boring, and pitiful people. I have lived in all three places, and I know nothing could be farther from the truth.
