A Television Viewer's Diary: 9/3-9/10

Part of: TV Viewer's Diary

WARNING: The free form ramblings continue, be prepared for run-ons, incomplete thoughts, and atrocious punctuations. This is what happens to a mind on TV, it's not pretty, but kind of fun.

The above will now be the standard warning for this weekly dose of what I watched. It will probably get worse as the new season gets into fill swing.

Sunday 9/4.

  • Wanted. I want to like this show, it has moments of brilliance, but more often than not it just doesn't continue to hold me. This episode has the team setting up their on porn shop to draw out a Russian gangster who has been targeting the shops of LA. A mistake puts one of their own at risk, and threatens to tear the team apart. Not sure how long I'll continue with this show. **.5

Monday 9/5.

  • WWE:Raw. The show opened with Angle making quick work of Eugene, this will probably be his last appearance for awhile. There was the debut, of what I assume will be a new tag team of Val Venis and Viscera, they took care of the Heartthrobs. There was another tag team debut of Cade and Murdoch who beat Hurricane and Rosey in a non title match. Overall it was a decent show. ***
  • Prison Break. This shows promise of breaking out as a favorite of mine. It is over the top and not terribly realistic, but the characters are captivating. Michael is making friends and enemies like no tomorrow. The details escape me as I write this, but I am looking forward to next week. ***.5
  • The Closer. The season finale was good, but I don't know how it ended, as I forgot that it was 70 minutes, so if you know how it ended, please share! I really need to start writing this earlier in the week when the details are still fresh in my mind. I know a complaint was lodged against Brenda for her treatment of other agencies, the rest of the crew stood up for her. That led to a funny segment, that I remember, of Brenda apologizing to the other agencies. I look forward to it's return. ***
