The rest of the cast does a decent job. David Hewlitt appears as the psychotic Larry. The crazy guy is just an extension of his Rodney character. The law enforcement characters are aggressive and not totally believable but, then again, they will mostly be the token red shirt characters. The people we want to watch will be Magnus and Zimmerman, who is played by Robin Dunne. He’s had experience in the TV and video world. Now he gets to take part in a first-of-its-kind sci-fi show. He’s work is solid, if standard.
The look and feel of the show is outstanding. As mentioned, it’s reminiscent of Blade Runner with a little Gotham City thrown in. The special effects are first rate, though this should be expected. Sanctuary is put together by Stargate personnel. Over ten years, the Stargate crew did a spectacular job of creating believable special effects each week. They bring the same ethic to this series. Sanctuary is sleeker and sharper than Stargate and has a darker edge to it, but the workmanship remains. It’s a joy to watch – from lighting to camera angle to effects.

I don't know - $2 for a very short episode of an unproven show that may or may not last long enough to tell a complete story? Great idea, but $2 is a price for a full-length established show, not an experiment.

No $2 is the price for a full-length established show that would be expected to be already profitable based on having TV advertising slots and possibly international distribution then released onto the internet.
$2 is reasonble considering this is an online commercial broadcast with no DRM.

Pricing is an issue that the creators have been hearing about. Damian Kindler, one of the creators of the project, addresses that on one of the blogs.
$2 didn't seem too bad to me. Sci-fi fans will probably like the show and be willing to drop the cash. I'm gonna buy the bundle and make myself feel like I'm really gettin' a deal!
