I didn't discover WB's Charmed until a couple of years ago during a long recovery during the summer when nothing good was on. I caught a two-hour Charmed and spent the rest of the summer catching as many episodes as possible in reruns. By the end of that year, I probably saw every episode except a couple.
The latest report is that the show life hangs in the balance. Neither renewed nor canceled. C'mon... renew! I admit I didn't take a look at the show because of its being on WB and that a show about witches wasn't my thing. Furthermore, with Shannen Doherty and Allysa Milano in it, I thought it was a "babe" type of shows for guys. Don't get me wrong, I watched Milano grow up in Who's the Boss? and Doherty in Our House, pre-90210.
The show's creators and writers have amazing imaginations and come up with stories that intertwine with things we read about as a kid such as Greek Myths, fairy tales, and even history. Furthermore, my oldest kid loves it and that show provides the topic of many interesting discussions. I often look up something mentioned on that show and read up on it.
I know every show has to end at some point. Most of the shows, however, go off at just the right time... right when I start to get bored or when I no longer "can't wait" till the next episode. Charmed still has me gripped. I'd like to see the show, at least, live on another year so we can get closure. I don't want a sloppy, rushed ending like Jag had. I liked some of its outcome , but it had weak parts and could've closed on a stronger note.
I'm not ready to give up Piper's sarcastic wit, Phoebe's childlike outlook, and Paige's desire to help others.

I too didn't discover Charmed until one of it's later seasons. It was on the TV and I just didn't want to get up and change the channel. I was instantly hooked and soon watched every episode.
Bring back Charmed!

Try watching it from the pilot, seven years ago, going through all the ups and downs, departures and welcomes, and now have to dread fate like this...
I really really hope they will renew it for the eighth and last season. We as fans deserve that...

I completely agree! Charmed is by far the best show ever and never gets old. I hope that Charmed will still be on for an eigth season and maybe if we're lucky a ninth. There will be a lot of dissapointed and angry people if you take away Charmed.

this show is great except they havn't done there home work.yes there r maori ppl in newzealand but they don't speak maori every day u'll find that every body speaks english but in sum towns they have maori signs and sum schools teach maori as a language.kia ora (key-or-a)means hello in maori but is almost used as slang 4 hey. it is not maori culter to wear a mask .they used to have tattos on there faces.

It looks like it's officially back for at least one more season with that Haley Cuoco girl (formerly the blonde chick on ABC's cancelled "However Many Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter") as the apprentice witch. But she's not nearly hot enough to give this show a ratings boost and probably won't save it for next season.

I happen to enjoy Charmed very much and would defintely like to see it continue. I do agree that the girl from 8 simple rules isn't go to cut it nor is the alter appearances and the living in "hiding". I believe things could and would pick up again if they would just bring back "dear ol' Cole". I mean how many times did they vanquish him in the past and yet he lived to tell about it??! We know already from a past episode that he is only stuck in an alternate spirit world, if he can come back from the wasteland, why not this one? Not only keep the series going but bring the Charmed Ones back from the dead. After all, Wyatt is even more powerful than they, he needs someone to kick demon butt until he gets old enough!!

i need charmed!! i watch it 3 times a day. i dont care if its a rerun, it will never get old!! i just had my 1st grandbaby, and she named after alysaa milano. her name is alyssa rae. my daughter in law and my son both love the show!!! infact, they have seasons 1 _3 and waiting on the rest. are family really needs charmed. its our life!!!

i love charmed it is the best show in the whole world and i don't no how you can just end it what about people like me charmed fans all these people who have spent there time writing messages to you. bring back charmed and you'll bring back the funa nd excitement into peoples lives. charmed is highly exiciting and clingy it makes you want to see more. i understand the actors alyssa milano rose mc gowan holly marie combs are tired for workin the more than ten years this show worths a fortune and you'll lose a lot of money ending it just like that you have ended it twice now and it seems ovious that you want to carry on other wise you wouldn't end it and then restart it please do at least another two or three series. please i love charmed and i know i'm not the only one more people than the people who have sent you faxes and emails and are on charemd websites more people like it. my auny use to not like charmed much because i watched everyone that came on in the day. i made her watch it this saturday when it finished she said she loveed it and that its really good so she understands why people like me go mad over it. thats one more person just staring to like it and its finished? please put it on a few more series so television is worth it. i love you charmed fans i love you charmed! i hope you never end but evrything ends judt hopefully this won't end this soon even though you have been broadcasting since 1992 ok thats all i got to say to encourage you. i have to go now bye

charmed is like the biggest and bestest programme in the world how dare you take it away and end it i love it and i'm not the only one everyone does. charmed is just so.... me........ i love magic and i love magical programmes. i believe that magic truly does exist deep down inside ure heart. my power is strengh and sport and gymnastics. everyone has a power wether its seeing, hearing, and even smelling. its a gift as some people in the world would love it as a gift as some people can't see or can't hear and can't smell. magic really is around you just have to see it for your self for you to find ures. please put charmed back on its a very clingy programme it makes u wanna watch more i watch them over and over and begin to see new things each time. its the best and i love the way you make it like a real life programme as if there normal lives just on tv with a little twist in their lives magic! i hope to see another three episodes four would be a dream come true. charmed is the best and more than half the world think that. carry on and make tv worth watchin. charmed roks people! have to go now love you all charmed fans and love you all charmed people. bye xxxxxxxxxxx

I think this will be the last post I make on my disappointment over the cancellation of Charmed. I had heard about this show for years on the WB network. I didn't start watching Charmed until April 2006. The episode where Prudence died and was hooked from that moment. Maybe Charmed wasn't bringing in enough revenue for the WB network. I don't know. It could have been cancelled because of research surveys. That happens sometimes. If an actress can be fired from her job because of biased opinions about a character she has been paid to portray, the same outcome can happen with a television series.
I'm not into witchcraft or the occult. But I love to see good triumph over evil in movies as well as in television programs. Most of the posts that I've read seem to have been written by people who like to escape into a television program that captivates them with fantasy, adventure, action, drama, suspense and a soap-opera like family-oriented taste. Charmed was such a program.
I think the TNT network will be airing most if not all of the Charmed re-runs episodes. I'm planning on buying the entire Charmed series season collections. I hope that Charmed will be picked up by some cable or regular network where new shows will be aired. That's a big wish for some of us. If not, I'll have my Charmed DVD's to enjoy since there isn't much left to enjoy on the non-cable networks anymore in my book.

I won't lament over the cancellation of Charmed all day on this post. Just wanted to make sure I'd get info. from someone here should the Charmed series continue with new episodes on some cable or non-cable network. I don't think that all television shows are cancelled because of low or bad viewer ratings. Other things sometimes result in good shows being cancelled.

I admire Paige because I am her biggest fan and I am a lot like her. She funny jokes and she is just about the only person in the world that looks good in RED lipstick!!! And I make jokes just about every second of the day. Plus she is the only charmed one that has ever married a HUMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prue is my least favorite because her character quit the most famous tv show ever and she is the one that won't let her face appear on Charmed! She is like, a horrible person because Paige never get's to see her face, EVER!!!
Piper is nice because she knew that Leo was the man for her once she saw him. And when she first confessed Leo couldn't remember.
Phoebe would have lived "Happily ever after" with Cole. But Coop was obviously meant for her. But Cole is great.
Cole is my favorite boy character and I think he is HOT!!! I am so sad he died and I never watch any episode when he dies.I love him and I've memorized every character's name including neighbor Dan=Greg Vaugn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
