But right now he needs to intervene. He signals the team to move in, while he himself comes in through the roof. Shots are fired; Curtis gets nailed in the shoulder, but shakes it off. “’Tis just a flesh wound!” Robocop whirls around and faces Jack. “Bitch, I just got him to drop his pants, ah I mean firewall, and you all have to storm the castle!”
Luckily enough data gets through to Chloe at CTU, and before you know it, she’s got a diagram of a Russian sub on her screen. Within minutes they all discern that the sub is armed with several missiles. Oh, and the sub is docked in the L.A. area for some sweet technology sharing program with the U.S., courtesy of a treaty signed by Logan earlier in the day.
Audrey patches Jack through to the sub’s commander. “This is Jack Bauer, Charades champ and federal agent. A group of terrorists led by Frankenstein is going to take over your ship. Yes, they have torches, pitchforks, the works.”
Oh no, too slow. As the lieutenant makes his way around his ship, trying to secure it, he goes topside, only to be shot down by Frankenstein himself. Then Frankenstein heaves down the armed canister of nerve gas. Much chaos and death ensue. Then the baddies don the gas masks and go below to start activating the missiles.
Will Jack get there in time? Will Curtis respond with a “fuckoff” next time Jack asks him to set up a perimeter? Will Audrey stop wearing white? Will Logan and Miles share a jail cell together and perfect their skills at ‘Drop the Soap’?
We will find out next week on Fox, as 24 wraps up with a two-hour finale, starting at 8:00PM EST. Stay tuned! (Because Jack will hunt you down and shoot you in the thigh if you don’t.)

Some great observations as always, Mary K. Yes, the two best moments were Pierce & Logan and Karen and Miles. I'll add them to my list of all times favorites right up there with Jack gunning down Drazen and putting a bullet in Nina Meyers. I'm sure he has a few left for Henderson, Bierko, and Logan.

Nicely done. Indeed, I saw The Sentinel over the weekend, and it was like 24: The Movie.
Odd that the movie had Kiefer, and a Secret Service agent sleeping with the First Lady, played by Kim Basinger.
24 has Kiefer, and a Secret Service agent who acts like he wants to sleep with the First Lady. And Kim Basinger might appear in the next season.

Chloe spilling coffee on Miles was pretty good too.

I didn't quite understand why Agent Adams drove up in a car. He was in the retreat. Did he leave in the car and come back? Was the car parked elsewhere?
And did they just happen to have all that plastic sitting around the retreat?

Well, last year Dave Barry commented about Marwan shopping at Home Depot. I suppose if an all-night Home Depot is good enough for Marwan, it be good enough for Agent Adams.
"Excuse me, where are your
blood-catchingwaterproof sheets of plastic? Yes, trunk sized would be perfect"
