Remember Tiffany? Or maybe I should say it like this: REMEMBER TIFFANY!!!
Tiffany was a raven-haired, teen idol who enthralled the nation singing songs such as “I Think We’re Alone Now” to thousands and thousands and thousands of screaming fans at malls all across the fruited plain.
When you say “mall tour,” most of us think “Tiffany.” Yeah. (Okay, maybe some people scream out "Ashlee Simpson.")
Well, that’s about to change. In a business development that supports my brilliant idea that “From Justin to Kelly” would be a smash/classic/cult hit on Broadway, Coca-Cola and the suits behind the giant Simon Malls chain have announced the launch of a “multi-mall event featuring live performances by 2004-2005 American Idol finalists.”
Just I hasten to add as “From Justin to Kelly” would on Broadway, the soft drink and mall brain trust observed that these events will bring “the drama and excitement of the pop culture phenomenon, American Idol, from the living room TV directly in Simon Malls in major markets throughout the country.”
The hook? Obviously: “The live event will bring tens of thousands of people across the United States face-to-face (folks, that’s face-to-face!) with their favorite stars from the show’s 2004 and 2005 seasons.”
Attendees also will get goodies such as “backstage” Q & A sessions with AI celebrities. And, of course, no AI Mall event would be complete without a “high-energy” singing and dance contest, all the better to win really fun prizes such as an American Idol t-shirt. DON’T leave home without it, darling.
The first two AI stars sked to appear are LaToya London and George Huff. More will be added, including AI4 finalists as they are eliminated from the show.
So, if you’re in serious Mikalah Gordon withdrawal, help is on the way.
Let the good times roll!

Red-haired, surely.
I'd hate to be one of these guys. Big big dreams turns into going on a frickin mall tour instead.
