First up in this video, an Upper East Side favorite gets a remake and a dress down. Nish, the restaurant formerly known as March, has made its home in a cozy townhouse on East 58th Street for 16 years. The restaurant recently underwent a massive renovation and has reinvented itself with a hipper, more casual fusion menu and walls adorned with a changing display of modern art. But does it work? Heather Tierney of Sorted NY weighs in on the new look, the diverse menu and whether Nish is worth the trip.

A fun new spot in the Flatiron district is crawling with stylish little New Yorkers. Apple Seeds is a chic and innovative meeting spot for tots and mommies alike. We checked in with the founders, Alison Schlanger and Alison Berna to find out about the programs at Apple Seeds and why mini-Manhattanites are lining up for inventive classes like “My Chelsea Art Opening,” “Little Maestros,” “New Generation Yoga,” and “Cooking Monsters.” A boutique for haute tots, a sprawling indoor playground with a New York state of mind, a healthy cafe, and cool birthday parties make Apple Seeds the coolest new kid on the block.
