The story of The Philadelphia Experiment doesn’t convince me really. I thought it was based on a true story, but it seems too whack to be true, IMO. I’ve found a little bit of background information here though. It’s interesting, but I don’t think this whole time traveling thing actually worked that way. Maybe it is true and the ship vanished somehow, but I could imagine the time traveling part was just a myth added to the story. Concerning the movie it was obvious it is an old movie, from 1984. The special effects were really a mess, but probably quite a progress already at that time. And kissing in movies must still have been a very weird thing in the early 80ies. The guy exaggerated the whole kissing parts at times and almost ended up having an orgasm, while I sat here and said – hello? It’s just a kiss! But very funny sometimes to watch old movies.
