The News That Cried Flu

Every year the news proclaims a huge flu epidemic, only to say they were mistaken afterwards. After they have already cashed in on their pharmaceutical portfolio.

One day they are going to cry flu…and no one is going to believe them, and millions will die from lack of trust.

G.I. Gurdjieff warned of this over fifty years ago. You’d almost think that news organizations wouldn’t stoop to using fear as a way to sell products, but alas they and the politicians have been doing that forever.

Were only evolution real…

The problem is, of course, compounded by the fact that many people get sick and die from the flu vaccine itself. But those who pushed the drug will never admit to being responsible for these deaths.

None dare call this game bioterrorism, but I don’t see why not.
It may well be a pharmaceutical Serpent’s Egg.

When your job demands that you kill people, it is time to get a different job.

Mr Beckwith (anonyMoses) has performed internet related services for a variety of companies, like Automated Directions, Inc. — a full service system integrator and distributor for many of today’s leading manufacturers of material handling equipment — WebKorner – Web and Internet solutions for homes and businesses in the Charlotte area — Casual Furniture World where comfort CAN be beautiful…and affordable — The Leonardo Store – which was introduced from Germany, but whose accolades include the Oprah magazine’s “O” list, and stints on the Today Show and Redbook. Some of these companies will be sending representatives to the conference and may soon be entering the exotic world of bizblogging.

I love your title! And I love the line: “Were only evolution real…”
    You can write.

Remember the Swine flu thing that never happened? People died or got sick from that vaccine. A relative got sick from a regular flu vaccine, but it wasn’t serious.

I had never thought of the financial angle before, and I had no idea the WHO wasn’t onboard with the flu scaremonging. I thought it was health authorities driving this. Well now.

The medical/pharmceutical industry seeks to rule by fear and they do, over a certain portion of the population.

I’ve never gotten a flu shot and I never will. I’ve never taken Western medicine for it either. There’s wholistic ways to prevent and treat the flu.

    Thanks for your good article.

I think there’s a bit of confusion here over the predicted flu pandemic, which is going to happen sooner or later and planning for which the WHO is spearheading, and the yearly flu vaccine campaign. The vaccine you get today is not going to help when pandemic strikes – that’s part of what will make it a pandemic. Scientists will have to come up with the vaccine once the strain is identified. The media is covering every swine/bird/weird flu virus because that’s how the pandemic will start. The fearmongering comes out of the media obsessing over every case as if it’s the start of a pandemic … because some time, it will be, and they don’t want to miss the boat. And some of them don’t really understand the issue, like this post.

Trust info from experts, not media, not non-scientists. The WHO has info here: http://www.who.int/csr/disease/influenza/en/.

Thanks for the excellent and kind comments. Great blogs ya got there!
And some wonderful articles on here!

I tend to take a holistic approach to my own health, and realize that scientists too can fall prey to the sirens of the marketplace.

It is akin to addictive substances. But instead of some people taking it over and over…you have everybody taking it, paying for it, once or twice. As such, and as with all other high-profit items, scrutiny should be roused.

Anyway…thanks again! I hear my pillow calling.

    deekay,

Theories about what will happen are just that. “Science” isn’t omniscient and contains divergent opinions.

I’ve read your post several times and don’t see how anything AnonyMoses or I wrote is disproved by it.

I personally wonder if the Spanish Flu epidemic in the early twentieth century was an early form of germ warfare spread by the Germans.

My point is that the flu vaccine distrust and the news about a future pandemic are two separate issues that are being confused here. Read the WHO link anonyMoses provided – that story, and the ones about weird flu strains the media are pouncing on, have nothing to do with the campaigns telling you to get an annual flu vaccine. They are talking about a future pandemic that no vaccine now is going to help you with. That misunderstanding – which anonyMoses is compounding – is what the pharmaceutical companies stand to profit from right now.

I had already read the WHO article. I was already aware that flu vaccines were made from last year’s strains of flu, another reason, in my eyes, to doubt their efficacy.

If Chinese people would just stop having sex with chickens this whole problem would go away.

  • http://anonymoses.blogspot.com/ anonyMoses

Dave — I didn’t realize that the Chinese had sex with chickens. I’ll have to try that. I’ve never had sex with the Chinese.

Maybe that’s why Chinese and Chicken are anagrams…virtually.

    Good to see ya!

Cerulean — Have you seen Ingmar Bergman’s “Serpent’s Egg”? It is a devastating portrayal of Nazi experiments with chemical and biological warfare.

The implication was that the serpent who laid that egg will live through the many offspring that will be hatched. I have been skeptical of drugs and their potential for “social control” ever since I first saw that dreadful film. The Spanish Flu could well have been a product the Nazis rolled out.

One has to wonder each time these new flu products hit the market. As well as their deadly antidote.

Why can’t we all just get along?

Where is Rodney Luther King when you need him??

Deekay — My medical education was very minimal, and so I am no expert on the subject. But considering the outrageous profits in the drug world, I can see how even the most trusted sources could succumb to bribery and greed. Scientists have told us that nicotine is not addicting and that Paxil is good for you.

It is, I guess, a case of a few bad apples…

I haven’t seen that movie. Sounds like a barrel of laughs : – ) Dave Nalle isn’t planning on going to any Chinese restaurants, I hope.
