If you want to make a list of upcoming stars, you'd probably want to add Taylor Swift to your list. Taylor Swift, a 19-year-old country singer, just spent her 9th week on top of Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 Albums sales chart. She released her sophomore album, Fearless, last year. Her top songs include: "White Horse," "Love Story," "Teardrops on My Guitar," "Tim McGraw," and "Our Song." Taylor not only sings, but writes the majority of her own lyrics. Fearless releases in Europe on March 9th.
Taylor Swift now holds the number one spot at pop radio. The country crossover “Love Story” is the first country crossover to hold #1 on CHR/Top 40 in the Billboard’s Nielsen BDS chart. This chart has been around 16 years! When the chart was created, former president Bill Clinton had just taken office. "Love Story" is also #1 on the Mediabase Top 40 Chart. But that's not all. “Love Story” is such an addictive song that it has the most paid downloads in history. When the song was first released in November, it spent two weeks at #1 on the Country singles charts.
Fearless' second single, "White Horse," also was successful. The popular song made history as the biggest debut ever on CMT.com, and is CMT’s most streamed video of the year.
Taylor Swift is all over the media — Find articles about her in Rolling Stone, Self, and Teen Vogue. The March 5th copy of Rolling Stone features an eight page spread on her.

Taylor's going to be on TV. Taylor tests out her acting abilities in the March 5th in an episode of CSI, where she plays Haley Jones, a disturbed teen whose parents run a seedy Vegas motel.
