This week, Long Beach has got some new flavor, and you can get your motor running in some hot wheels.
Jar is one of my favorite restaurants in L.A., with a menu backed by acclaimed chef Suzanne Tracht. She is now taking over the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel with her new restaurant, Tracht’s. Steaks, roasts, and fresh salads are just some of her signature dishes you won’t want to miss.

If you can’t own that car you’ve always wanted, why don’t you just rent it? Spin is here to help. The showroom and rental club specializes in restored and retro cars. From $200 a day, zoom around in a Jaguar XK120 or a 1974 Cadillac El Dorado. Thank us for all the compliments you’ll be getting!

Also this week, summer may be over, but the festivities continue. On Sept. 8 and 9, swing by the SoCal Wine Festival for some spirits, snacks and jazz. Then from Sept. 6-29, check out The Great Picture at The Art Center College of Design. The 3,375 square-foot installation was taken by the world’s biggest camera and is the largest photograph ever. Don’t believe us? See for yourself!
