They say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. And as a woman who knows her way around a kitchen, I would agree that any cutie with culinary skills can earn extra "brownie points" with most fellas. Pun intended.
With this being the case, women wishing to woo their guys for the upcoming Father's Day, will love a new cook book I recently scored.
It combines two ingredients that many of the "Mars" inhabitants love: food and beer! Hello!
Cooking With Beer, by Sheryn R. Jones, first off is eye-appealing and cleverly designed. The book is shaped like a 6-pack beer case with yellow and brown colors, and small enough to fit in a pocket book.
Inside are mouth-watering recipes on everything from beer-battered onion rings, to recipes with shrimp, and even a slow cooker rump roast. The recipes are simple to follow, with minimal ingredients.
My favorite is the Beer-soaked chops, (only 4 ingredients listed). Stay tuned, as I intend to try my hand at it and report back to you with the results--the good, the bad, or the ugly.
