It remains to be seen whether they'll take off, but they're fun little hunks of sweet that are practically begging for you to think up things to do with them. I'm pretty serious about using them as drink seltzer, and can imagine several new adult beverages being created in the process. It takes two to flavor the average can of soda, and at approximately two-and-a-half calories each, there's no reason not to give them a try.
Do they taste exactly like their liquid counterparts? No, and you'd be a bit daft if you honestly expected them to. Are they interesting for reasons you can't entirely explain? Yes, and allow me to explain...

I have had cola flavored carbonated candy from Japan, and I rather like them. I may just have to seek this out....
Now hoping that candy/food reviewing catches on here.... :)

There are plenty of candy reviews online. I write candy review on my site. I reviewed CO2 Carbonated Candy which is made by the same company that makes the Jones Soda Carbonated Candy and I wrote about the Jones Candy back in October (I'd give you links but they trigger your spam filters)
Also, Cybele at candyblog.net does candy reviews too. So there are plenty of candy reviews (and candy blogs) if you look hard enough :)
Good review!

Candy Blog is one of my favorite blogs at the moment, so I thoroughly enjoyed this candy review. It'd be kind of neat to see more candy (and food) reviews on BC.

I should have guessed that there would be a blog dedicated to candy (which means that, as a society, we now have all the bases covered). It actually looks pretty tasty. Thanks for the heads-up.

Tastes good, but scratches the roof of your mouth and the fleshy...part underneith your tongue.
