Arctic Zero Guilt Free Ice Cream

Part of: Fitness Sanity

Finding a dessert that's suitable for everyone on your guest list can be a bit of a challenge. You have one person who is dieting, one who's a diabetic, another is lactose intolerant and another cannot have gluten. Coordinating everyone's needs can be overwhelming. I try to watch my weight during the holidays so I am constantly searching for sweets that I can eat that won't make me pack on the pounds. I don't like artificial sweeteners which leaves out of a lot of traditional low calorie desserts. There aren't a lot of low calorie, low sugar foods that are all natural.

Arctic Zero offers a delicious ice cream that fits all of these needs! Their ice cream bars are only 85 calories per bar. They are gluten free, low sugar and suitable for people who are lactose intolerant. They contain only natural or organic ingredients and are low glycemic and suitable for people with Type 2 Diabetes. They are made with a high quality whey protein and contain fiber. They are non-GMO, contain no hydrogenated oils and no sugar alcohols. They have 70% fewer calories, fat and sugar than other premium bars. These bars come four to a box and are available as two chocolate/two vanilla or two strawberry/two orange cream.

Being someone who eats lower calorie foods regularly, I was thrilled to discover that these bars are smooth & creamy! Many lower calorie ice creams have a sort of crystally texture to them that I don't like at all. The ice cream has a very pleasant taste that is sweet without being overly sweet and there's no artificial taste at all. My husband is a huge ice cream fan and doesn't generally like the *healthy* kind of ice cream and he loves the chocolate covered chocolate bars.
