    This Independent will settle for supporting the Democrats in 2004 — IF that party becomes moral and decent and committed to social and economic justice for all the people. A Democratic Party headed by Howard Dean or Wes Clark is unacceptable, though, and will send me running toward Ralph Nader should he decide to join the fray. Right now, the only progressive antidote to the poison of Bush I can see is Dennis Kucinich.
