Moss' first single is the right message at the right time.

Stream Nick Moss’ New Single “It’ll Turn Around,” New Album Here I Am Due Nov. 22

Nick Moss had to push the release of his upcoming album, Here I Am, from October to November 22, but he’s made sure it’s going to be worth the wait and is now streaming the upcoming set’s first single, “It’ll Turn Around.”

Moss wrote and recorded this song in the midst of the economic turmoil that remains so devastating for so many, though long before there was an earthquake in Washington D.C. or before Hurricane Irene made its destructive run up the East Coast. Regardless, “It’ll Turn Around” is the right song at the right time, bringing an anthemic message of hope.

His earliest records were filled with original interpretations of classic Chicago blues. Beginning with his 2010 release, Privileged, Moss began expanding and experimenting with that sound, and that exploration continues on Here I Am and particularly “It’ll Turn Around.”

There is a distinct gospel feel blended with Moss’ mix of blues, roots, and rock. Michael Ledbetter contributes some great counter vocals to the track while guest vocalists Shuree Rivera and Jennifer Evans bring something to the mix never heard before on any of Moss’ previous records. Those voices, along with Travis Reed’s soulful keyboard work and some searing slide work from Moss himself, make this a song destined to heat up the airwaves at blues radio.

You can stream “It’ll Turn Around” for free while you wait for the full tracklisting and artwork for Here I Am as well as the announcement of the artist’s opening round of tour dates.
