While the general public is unaware if an upcoming TV show will be of acceptable quality, nobody has a clue if a sporting event on television will be a fun to watch. Sure, they might feature superstars and it could be for the championship ... but nobody can portend the outcome. That's half the fun. Usually at last the screeners know if the latest crime drama episode sucked. (The writers may know in advance, too.)
This is where Telefishin' comes in. It may help you decide what to watch on the weekend, but more often than not it's going to be a modestly flippant look at what they are airing. And that's the best anyone can hope for, really.
