This just in: Opening Day is tonight. Yes, there is something baseball-related going on that doesn't involve "creamy, cleary" performance-enhancing drug talk.
And since the Boys of Summer are about to play ball yet again, it's time for some more off-base predictions. Therefore, co-sports podcast personality DJRadiohead and I put our collective neurons together. The end product was our shot-in-the-dark predictions of each division, as well as our guesses on World Series outcomes and individual award winners.
We both openly admit that only a handful of these predictions will unlikely be close to accurate come season's end. Heck, we wouldn't be surprised if all our award-winners got injured for the season on Monday.
But we might as well make them anyways, if for no other reason, to have another arbitrary competition between us. Also, it gives DJRadiohead an immediate buffer from the beatdown he received in the NCAA Tournament bracket pool.

Let's just hope I can pick ballgames better than I can pick brackets.

Well you made some good picks with the AL Rookie of the Year, NL Cy Young, and the winners of the AL Central, NL East and NL Wild Card.
