One could only hope that he will be mentally tough enough to withstand the questions which will be fielded by the media and most notably by the hundreds of fans taunting him along the tour stops.
We have always bet on Tiger to come from behind on Sundays, sink the long putt and control the four-day lead winning by ten strokes. But this is a new place for him now. He might be in the zone, but had better be “zoned in” with his mental self to withstand what lies ahead for his long way back to the hearts and soul of his fans.
As a fan I say welcome back and god speed. As the saying goes: “drive for show and putt for dough,” so let’s see where Tiger will sit mentally on this one.
