1:00 p.m. - Buffalo Bills (1-0) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) [Line: Jacksonville by 5.5]
The Bills whipped Seattle last week, 34-10. Buffalo's special teams unit was the key to their victory, with a punt return for a TD, a fake field goal for a TD (on an exceedingly rare punter-to-defensive-end connection), and a fumble recovery by their kicker. Jacksonville lost to Tennessee last week, 17-10. QB David Garrard was sacked seven times and threw two INTs in the loss.
RJ's Pick: Jacksonville by 3
1:00 p.m. - Oakland Raiders (0-1) @ Kansas City Chiefs (0-1) [Line: Kansas City by 3.5]
Oakland got thrashed by Denver on Monday Night Football, 41-14. RB Justin Fargas had a solid game in the loss, rushing for nearly 100 yards, and averaging 5.4 yards per carry. The Chiefs lost to New England last week, as everyone expected, although they did manage to keep it close (17-10). Of course, it helped somewhat that they knocked the reigning NFL MVP, Patriots QB Tom Brady, out of the game (and the season) in the first quarter. The man who crippled him, Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard, might want to avoid eating in any Boston-area restaurants for, oh, say, the rest of his life.
RJ's Pick: Kansas City by 1
1:00 p.m. - Indianapolis Colts (0-1) @ Minnesota Vikings (0-1) [Line: Indianapolis by 2]
The Colts lost to the Bears at home in Week One. QB Peyton Manning's numbers have declined every year since his record-breaking 2004 season, and he didn't look particularly good Sunday night. That trend does not bode well for Colts fans. Minnesota lost to division rival Green Bay in Monday night's "early" game. RB Adrian Peterson had a great game, though, rushing for 103 yards and a TD on 19 carries.
RJ's Pick: Indianapolis by 6
1:00 p.m. - New York Giants (1-0) @ St. Louis Rams (0-1) [Line: New York Giants by 8]
The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants dominated the Washington Redskins last week, 16-7. WR Plaxico Burress had ten receptions for 133 yards, and RB Brandon Jacobs rushed for 116 yards on 21 carries. (If I played fantasy football, I would want those two on my team.) The Rams looked awful in Week One, losing to the Eagles 38-3. It was simply an all-around beat down. I honestly can't find anything positive to say about their performance.

I'll be 11-5 going into week 2.
My predictions are...
1. The Pack wins over the Lions
2. The Cheifs take out Oakland
3. Gaints easily beat the Rams
4. The Vikings will redeem themselves and Colts will start out 0-2
5. Titans squeek one out against the Bengals
6. The Redskins beat the highly over rated Saints (the Gaints scored points in the air but beat them on the run, where NO is weaker IMO)
7. Carolina wins over the Bears at home
8. The Jags kill off Bills fans hope for the season
9. Seattle crushes the 49er's
10. The Falcons upset the Bucs at home.
11. The Jets are finally able to win two games in a row.
12. The Cards beat out the Fins
13. Denver will be the second underdog team to upset the Bolts
14. Steelers dominate the Browns
15. Dallas wins at home
16. The Texans also win one at home

Note:
The Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans game was canceled, and rescheduled for November 9th, due to Hurricane Ike. Reliant Stadium was apparently severely damaged in the storm. So, this will count as the "bye week" for both the Ravens and the Texans.
