RJ's NFL Picks - Week Thirteen - Page 2

Part of: NFL Picks

New York Giants 10-1 at Washington 7-4 - 1:00 PM (Line: Giants by 3.5)

The Super Bowl champion Giants have the NFL's best point differential (+130). The Redskins have a solid defense but they don't score a lot of points.

RJ's Pick: New York Giants by 9

Atlanta 7-4 at San Diego 4-7 - 4:05 PM (Line: Chargers by 5)

The Chargers desperately need a victory here to have any hope of winning their division. They are a much better team at home. The surprising Falcons are just one game out of first place in the NFC South.

RJ's Pick: San Diego by 1

RJ's Game Of The Week: Pittsburgh 8-3 at New England 7-4 - 4:15 PM (Line: Patriots by 1)

The Steelers have the NFL's top defense in all four of the main categories (points allowed, total yards allowed, rushing yards allowed, and passing yards allowed). I'm going with the upset.

RJ's Pick: Pittsburgh by 4

Denver 6-5 at New York Jets 8-3 - 4:15 PM (Line: Jets by 7.5)

The Jets have won five straight. They are second in the league (and first in the AFC) in points scored. The Broncos, who hold a two-game lead in the AFC West, have a -44 point differential.

RJ's Pick: New York Jets by 14

RJ's Lame-Game Of The Week: Kansas City 1-10 at Oakland 3-8 - 4:15 PM (Line: Raiders by 3)

The Chiefs have lost seven in a row. They have the worst defense in the NFL in terms of total yards allowed per game.

RJ's Pick: Oakland by 7

Chicago 6-5 at Minnesota 6-5 - 8:15 PM (Line: Vikings by 3.5)

This game will determine which team sits alone atop the NFC North. The Bears won the season's previous matchup, 48-41. Expect a little better defense this time around.

RJ's Pick: Chicago by 3

MONDAY, DECEMBER 1

Jacksonville 4-7 at Houston 4-7 - 8:30 PM (Line: Texans by 3)

The Jaguars have dropped two straight. The Texans are 0-4 against division rivals this season.

RJ's Pick: Jacksonville by 5

THEY GOT A TOUGH FINISH HERE. I THINK THERE ONLY GAME TO WIN MIGHT BE ( MINN ) UNLESS THEY PLAY SOMEONE LATER WHO HAS CLINCHED. ( NOT AN ATTACK ). MY 9ERS ARENT TO MUCH BETTER ! :-)

Did anyone else catch that insane naked bootleg(?) play that Collins pulled off against Detroit or was I dreamin'?? There hasn't been one single post game or highlight show that has given any air time to this awesome moment.

Seriously, that game was retarded. I mean why are we stuck with such sh!te on Thanksgiving. I think Detroit should have let their local college team play for them instead. At least that would have made some people happy.

    EEL:

I think you're right about the Lions. Their best (only?) chance of getting a win is against the Vikings, but even that doesn't look too likely...
