I went 9-5 last week. That puts me at 45-29 for the season. For a comparison, check out the "experts" over at ESPN.
Here are my picks for the NFL's Week 6:
*SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12*
Chicago 3-2 at Atlanta 3-2 - 1:00 PM (Line: Chicago by 2.5)
This should be a competitive game. The Falcons are undefeated at home. The Bears have won two straight, and are on top in the NFC North. Is Chicago's run defense solid enough to contain Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood? I think it is.
RJ's Pick: Chicago by 5
Baltimore 2-2 at Indianapolis 2-2 - 1:00 PM (Line: Indianapolis by 4.5)
The Ravens have dropped their last two games, but both losses were by just three points. The Colts have the league's worst run defense and rushing offense. Could Indy really fall to 0-3 at home? I believe they will.
RJ's Pick: Baltimore by 3
RJ's Lame-Game Of The Week: Detroit 0-4 at Minnesota 2-3 - 1:00 PM (Line: Minnesota by 13)
I have officially given up on the Lions. Detroit's offense is ranked 28th in the league; their defense is dead last. The Vikings somehow managed to pull out a win on the road against the Saints on MNF. Look for Adrian Peterson to have about 200 rushing yards in this one.
RJ's Pick: Minnesota by 20
Oakland 1-3 at New Orleans 2-3 - 1:00 PM (Line: New Orleans by 7.5)
This will be Tom Cable's first game as the head coach of the Raiders. The Saints placed kicker Martin Gramatica on injured reserve; he will be replaced by rookie Taylor Mehlhaff. Drew Brees should easily pass for 350 yards and a couple of scores this week.
RJ's Pick: New Orleans by 4
Cincinnati 0-5 at New York Jets 2-2 - 1:00 PM (Line: New York Jets by 6)
The winless Bengals have the second-worst offense in the league. The Jets have the second-worst pass defense in the league. Will this be the week Carson Palmer finally throws for 300 yards and leads his team to victory? (For that matter, will he even play?) Brett Favre is on pace for his best season ever. His quarterback rating is 110.8; in his lengthy and storied career, Favre has never finished a season with a triple-digit QB rating. His completion percentage is over 70 percent. At the rate he's going, he'll have 48 passing TDs by the end of the regular season (and he'll also have been sacked 40 times). Anyway, I expect a close game.

Oh boy, lets see if I can bounce back this week. After a 6-8 thrashing for my picks, and a 44-6 thrashing for my Seahawks, and my Ducks got thrashed by the Trojans... Just a bad week last week. I'll be 46-28 going into week 6.
Lets see here...
1. I'm going for the Ravens over the Colts, but t will be a toss up anyway IMO.
2. Vikings all the way over a sorry sorry sorry Lions.
3. The Saints will redeem themselves over the Raiders, and the fans wil cheer so hard that they will forget it is the Raiders under the helm of a brand new coach.
4. Jets will have another high scoring game, although this one might be a little more one sided than their victory over the hyped up Cards.
5. Atlanta will rally for a win over the Bears.
6. Panther will win a tough one over the Bucs.
7. St. Louis, poor St. Louis... I actually feel bad for a division rival, which is sad. Redskins are hot right now and will make the poor Rams sorry they even showed up. Look at the upside though, at least they will have good draft placement next year.
8. I'm thinking the Fins can beat the Texans in their own house, call me crazy but...
9. Go Denver, go Jay Cutler, go another fantasy win for all my teams who have him! (PS I am predicting a win for the Bronco's)
10. I think the 49ers will win over the Eagles. I don't even think this one will be close.
11. The Seahawks are primed and ready to explode, at least I hope because all my friends are making fun of me for backing a loosing team right now.
12. It is strange but I am actually hoping the Cowboys win, I guess it goes along the lines of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", and right now my enemy (slighty over dramatic) is the Cards.
13. I think the Bolts will break even this week at 3-3 with a victory over the Pats.
14. Yeah, the Gaints are on fire and I'm not exactly going out on a limb by predicting them the victors this monday.
