RJ's NFL Picks, Week Seven

Part of: NFL Picks

I went an embarrassing 6-8 last week. That puts me at 51-37 for the season. For a comparison, check out the "experts" over at ESPN.

Here are my picks for the NFL's Week 7:

*SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19*

San Diego 3-3 at Buffalo 4-1 - 1:00 PM (Line: San Diego by 1)

The Chargers are better than your average .500 team. The Bills are undefeated at home.

RJ's Pick: Buffalo by 3

Minnesota 3-3 at Chicago 3-3 - 1:00 PM (Line: Chicago by 3.5)

The Vikings barely won at home against Detroit last week. The Bears have a banged-up secondary.

RJ's Pick: Chicago by 6

Pittsburgh 4-1 at Cincinnati 0-6 - 1:00 PM (Line: Pittsburgh by 10)

The Steelers are coming out of a bye week. The Bengals will be starting Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback in place of the injured Carson Palmer once again.

RJ's Pick: Pittsburgh by 14

Tennessee 5-0 at Kansas City 1-4 - 1:00 PM (Line: Tennessee by 8)

The Titans are the NFL's lone remaining unbeaten team. The Chiefs have the lowest-scoring offense in the AFC.

RJ's Pick: Tennessee by 13

Dallas 4-2 at Saint Louis 1-4 - 1:00 PM (Line: Dallas by 7)

The Cowboys may sit quarterback Tony Romo, who has a broken pinky finger on his throwing hand. The Rams shocked just about everybody by beating the Redskins at Washington last week, for their first win of the season.

RJ's Pick: Dallas by 17

Baltimore 2-3 at Miami 2-3 - 1:00 PM (Line: Miami by 2.5)

The Ravens have managed to score just 13 combined points in their last two games, both losses. The Dolphins lost in the final seconds last week against Houston.

RJ's Pick: Miami by 7

San Francisco 2-4 at New York Giants 4-1 - 1:00 PM (Line: New York Giants by 11)

The 49ers have lost three straight. The Super Bowl champion Giants lost for the first time this season last week to the Browns.

RJ's Pick: New York Giants by 15

New Orleans 3-3 at Carolina 4-2 - 1:00 PM (Line: Carolina by 3)

The Saints have the top passing offense in the league. The Panthers have the second-best pass defense in the league.

Light travels at 186K miles/sec. Water freezes at 0 degrees C. Huston over Detroit ? I always handy capped you for that but loved the logic you had to get the Lions on top.

Most of the games are pretty easy this week.
    except
    Buffalo over SD
    Chicago over Minn
    Miami over Baltimore
    Carolina over NO
upset of the week is Colts over GB
