RJ's NFL Picks - Week Fourteen - Page 3

Part of: NFL Picks

The Jets should win big.

RJ's Pick: New York Jets by 18

St. Louis Rams 2-10 at Arizona Cardinals 7-5 @ 4:15 p.m. (Line: Arizona by 13.5)

Prediction: Kurt Warner passes for 400+ yards, but the Cardinals gain less than 50 yards on the ground.

RJ's Pick: Arizona by 19

RJ's Second-Best Game Of The Week: Dallas Cowboys 8-4 at Pittsburgh Steelers 9-3 @ 4:15 p.m. (Line: Pittsburgh by 3)

Pittsburgh has the best defense in the league in pretty much every category. Dallas has won three straight and is fighting for a Wild Card slot. This should be a solid matchup between two of the NFL's marque franchises.

RJ's Pick: Pittsburgh by 7

New England Patriots 7-5 at Seattle Seahawks 2-10 @ 8:15 p.m. (Line: New England by 5)

Matt Cassel has been sacked 39 times so far this season. All of last season, Tom Brady was sacked just 21 times. I blame Matt Light. Logan Mankins, however, is beyond reproach. (Seriously. Try to reproach him. He'll fucking rip your eyes out.)

RJ's Pick: New England by 10

**MONDAY, DECEMBER 8**

RJ's Game Of The Week: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 9-3 at Carolina Panthers 9-3 @ 8:30 p.m. (Line: Carolina by 3)

An epic battle between two fierce rivals. They face off to fight for supremacy in their highly-competitive vocation. Who will win (It's kinda like Iron Chef, but with less bok choy)?

RJ's Pick: Carolina by 8

Bal, Chi, Det, GB, Ind, NO, Phi, Ten, Mia, Den, Ari, Pit, NE, Car, SF, Min.

I agree. Minnesota is Detroit's best chance. Winless teams always find ways to win somewhere, somehow. NO may be another one. But I'm still not picking them.

As for the CFL, yeah the Als are 1-5 in Grey Cup play since 1996. They've been the most successful regular season by far with a .643 winning percentage but haven't been able to beat Western teams in the big one.

Calgary was simply the better team.

It was cool to see the MNF crew show off their Als jersey's.
