9-5 so far.
Could have definitely been worse so far.
It would have been better if the Stealers had won like they were supposed to.

You're welcome to submit your own picks any week now, Mr. Synness...
After all, don't you write about sports for a living?
34 - Matthew T. Sussman
I think what MCH is trying to say, RJ, is that you would have a better pick record if you had served in the army.

I won't entertain the idea of posting for straight up winners. You have to play the spread to make any money, and if you're not doing it for money then why bother?
36 - JAS
Also I find absolutely nothing about this being a straight up contest. If you put a number beside your pick that means that you have assigned a spread. If they don't pass it then they lose.
My % is 1.5% less than RJ and I go with the spread. That's impressive.

It was part of the comments a week or so back. As far as betting goes, this isn't a gambling site, so what's the big deal? If we want to have it be a win/loss pick, well, that's our business.
I'm sure there are plenty of sites you can visit that meet your standards. Why come here and be a pain in the ass?
"My % is 1.5% less than RJ and I go with the spread. That's impressive."
Sez you. It's all hot air from where I stand.

Well, the Vickings pulled through for me. so I ended up the week with 10-5.
Though we all know the only important think is that Penn State won on Saturday... and here's to hoping that next week one of the teams ahead of them loses...
RJ- re: comment #3. *neener neener*

If you're 10-5, how did I go 10-6?
Also, RJ, don't forget there are Thursday games. I'm sure you haven't but, just in case ....
40 - The Theory
you're right. I mis-calcumalated there.
chalk me up as 11-5.

Still, I'm sure nobody can touch my 5-9 mark in Week 3. Maybe it was because the week was hard. Maybe it was because the Tennessee air went straight to my head. We'll never know.

Woo hoo! 10-6! It didn't look good for the Vikings at first. Great second half, with me cheering mime-like so's not to wake up my wife.
Theory, you rock! Yo RJ, how did we end up compared to the experts?

Jaworski 8-8

Matthew- I don't think anyone WANTS to touch your 5-9 mark. ;-) We'll let you keep that honor...
