I went 8-6 last week straight-up, and 8-6 against the spread as well. For the season, that puts me at 84-46 straight-up, and 65-60-5 against the spread. For a comparison, check out the "experts" over at ESPN.
Here are my picks for the NFL's Week 10 games:
Thursday, November 10
Oakland 4-4 at San Diego 4-4 8:20 PM [Line: Chargers by 7]
The winner of this game will be at least tied for the division lead in the AFC West. The Raiders are 2-1 on the road this season; the Chargers are 3-1 at home.
--RJ's Pick: San Diego by 3
Sunday, November 13
Arizona 2-6 at Philadelphia 3-5 1:00 PM [Line: Eagles by 14]
Philadelphia has the top rushing game in the league, are ranked third in total yards per game, and have the best point differential in the NFC East, but are below .500 halfway through the season. The Eagles are just 1-3 at home this season; the Cardinals are winless on the road.
--RJ's Pick: Philadelphia by 6
Tennessee 4-4 at Carolina 2-6 1:00 PM [Line: Panthers by 3.5]
Titans RB Chris Johnson had arguably his best game of the season last week. Panthers rookie QB Cam Newton has had a triple digit passer rating the past two weeks.
--RJ's Pick: Tennessee by 2
Houston 6-3 at Tampa Bay 4-4 1:00 PM [Line: Texans by 3]
The Texans have won three straight. Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman has just eight TD passes through eight games, but has thrown 10 interceptions.
--RJ's Pick: Houston by 7
Washington 3-5 at Miami 1-7 1:00 PM [Line: Dolphins by 3.5]
The Dolphins won their first game of the season last week, spanking the Chiefs in Kansas City 31-3. The Redskins have lost four in a row.
--RJ's Pick: Washington by 1
Jacksonville 2-6 at Indianapolis 0-9 1:00 PM [Line: Jaguars by 3]
The Jaguars are the only NFL team that still hasn't scored at least 100 points this season. The Colts have allowed 283 points this season, by far the most in the league.
