I went 9-4 last week straight-up, but just 3-9-1 against the spread. For the season, that puts me at 61-29 straight-up, and 46-40-4 against the spread. For a comparison, check out the "experts" over at ESPN.
Here are my picks for the NFL's Week Seven:
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23
San Diego (4-1) at New York Jets (3-3) 1:00 PM [Line: Chargers by 1]
The Chargers have won three in a row. The Jets beat Miami last week to end a three-game losing streak. They are 3-0 at home this season.
RJ's Pick: New York Jets by 4
Chicago (3-3) at Tampa Bay (4-2) 1:00 PM [Line: Bears by 1]
The Bears are winless on the road this year. The Buccaneers sit atop the NFC South after beating New Orleans last week.
RJ's Pick: Tampa Bay by 3
Washington (3-2) at Carolina (1-5) 1:00 PM [Line: Panthers by 1]
John Beck will start under center for the Redskins this week. The Panthers have allowed at least 28 points in five of their six games this season.
RJ's Pick: Washington by 7
Atlanta (3-3) at Detroit (5-1) 1:00 PM [Line: Lions by 3.5]
Falcons QB Matt Ryan has been sacked just twice in his last three games. He was sacked a total of 13 times in the first three games of the season. The Lions have some serious concerns at running back. Jahvid Best suffered a concussion last week, his second of the year, while Jerome Harrison was found to have a brain tumor, which voided a trade that would have sent him to Philadelphia in exchange for former Pro Bowl RB Ronnie Brown.
RJ's Pick: Detroit by 8
Seattle (2-3) at Cleveland (2-3) 1:00 PM [Line: Browns by 2.5]
The Seahawks shocked the Giants at MetLife Stadium last week, 36-25. The Browns have scored more than 17 points in a game only once this season, in Week Two.
RJ's Pick: Seattle by 5
Denver (1-4) at Miami (0-5) 1:00 PM [Line: Dolphins by 1]
Tim Tebow will start at quarterback this week for the Broncos, fulfilling God's divine destiny. (I kid.) The winless Dolphins have lost six straight home games dating back to last season.

I went 7-6 last week and stand 61-29 through week 6.
This week we differ in that I think the Panthers will take the Redskins, and hope the Texans will beat the Titans.
I also think that if the sun and humidity conditions are just right, a number of individuals will swear that they saw the soft glow of a halo above Tim Tebow as he walks off the field after the Broncos defeat the Dolphins....
Good luck!

Good luck to you as well, C2E.

Note: The Bears are on the road this week, but the Bucs are not really at home; the game is being played in London.
