Two For the Money is "a drama of high stakes set in the adrenalized world of wheeler-dealers whose fortunes are won and lost betting on sports. Matthew McConaughey stars as Brandon Lane, a former college football star whose uncanny ability to predict the outcome of a game introduces him to an unexpected new career when his gridiron glory is sidelined by a crushing injury."
Blogcritics.org has partnered with Universal Pictures to offer Two For the Money t-shirts, hats, and posters to the person who predicts the most winners for Week Three of the NFL season.
Here's how it works.
Select the winners of the fourteen NFL contests taking place on Sunday, September 25th and Monday September 26th. Here they are:
Sunday, September 25th
Atlanta v. Buffalo
Tampa Bay v. Green Bay
New Orleans v. Minnesota
Cleveland v. Indianapolis
Carolina v. Miami
Tennessee v. St. Louis
Oakland v. Philadelphia
Jacksonville v. NY Jets
Cincinnati v. Chicago
Dallas v. San Francisco
Arizona v. Seattle
New England v. Pittsburgh
NY Giants v. San Diego
Monday, September 26th
Kansas City v. Denver
Tell us who you think will win by letting us know in the comments area below. Just write something to the effect of, "I pick…" and then give us your fourteen winners.
Please also predict the score of the Monday night contest in the case of a tie-breaker.
If you are the winner, we will need a valid e-mail address in order to make arrangements to have your prize mailed to you. Entries must be received by midnight EST on Saturday, September 24th. One slate of picks per person, please!
Good luck!

I don't want the stuff (you can let the runner-up have it when I win), but here are my picks:
Atlanta
Tampa Bay
New Orleans
Indy
Carolina
Tennessee
Philly
Jacksonville
Cincinnati
Dallas
Seattle
Pittsburgh
San Diego
Kansas City
We should just send the stuff to Temple already.
That is all.

Crap another big reputation i have to live up to.
;-)
I'll pick but if there's actually something REAL to win, I will go down in flames. Just like at the casinos - which I studiously avoid, though mostly because the old ladies and men there are just depressing. They win $1,000 but they just shrug because they've been there all day and dropped $3,000.

RJ, based on our track records, our similarity in picks is a bad thing. We're both born to lose and destined to fail.
Kansas City 30, Denver 27 in a squeaker.
The Cincy-Bears and Pats-Steelers games are toss-ups.
That is all.

There are some tough match-ups this week. This is the point in the season where pre-season expectations are coming into close, crunching contact with reality. Luckily I'm not a fantasy leaguer so that can't poison my choices.

I haven't checked others. I'm a crater-inducing 7-5 before the Giants and Chiefs wins.
I was on the wrong side of two OT games and it looked REALLY REALLY bad.

I think RJ has already won this, because he's 10-3 because he picked the Pats where I picked the Steelers.
I'm 9-4 and so is Berkeley Joe (good job, buddy), but we all picked the Chiefs and so did RJ.
So congrats, RJ.
More people should have played along with this. Maybe we should allow the winners in the "RJ's Week 3 picks" thread to play along as well. I don't think anyone there did better than RJ, but if anyone did and picked the games in advance, they should get the prize.
That is all.

Well! This is the second BC.org contest that I've won a prize in! :)

Congrats to RJ for the win!
