I see a few votes came in for the Apple Bowl, University of Washington vs. Washington State University. Well, of course I would follow that one. Always a battle, whether for Rose Bowl selection or pide.
This year was the best! Both teams stunk. Huskies 0-12, the Cougars had a win somewhere. The Toilet Bowl or the Booby Bowl, the game went to double OT. can't beat that!
btw, although not a traditional rivalry, I wish Boise St. could have played Ball St. in a Bowl.

Why is GA Tech-UGA not one of the top rivalries? I mean their fight song even has in it to hell with georgia! i HATE uga and im a diehard Ga Tech fan...so to HELL with Georgia 45-42 a new streak begins!!!

Utah BYU is at least top 10 rivalry come on just cuz the BCS pwns these non BCS conferences doesn't mean that we stink just that BCS is dumb

I'm not going to lie, I do love the BYU-Utah Rivalry and I would include it in the top 10. But I must say that no rivalry is greater than Michigan-Ohio State (#1). I enjoy a good rivalry and this is a game I can't miss, each season. As a Utah fan, I'm just glad when the Utes pull it off, especially since I live near BYU campus. And it doesn't matter how much hatred is stirred up during the week of the Holy War. But let's face it, we're all Mormon and we end up forgiving each other and all is well. I'm not partial to the outcome of the Wolverine-Sooners game, but it is hardly ever disappointing. Go UTES!!!

They got it right...ohio state vs. the school up north is the best rivalry...if you ask one of those schools who is your rival they will say the other and that's it, while all other schools seem to have two to three rivals

Longhorn-Aggies should at least appear on the list. Game of longstanding, rivalry transcends. Deeply held traditions associated with the game, on both sides.

Definitely BYU vs Utah is a fierce rivalry. Not only do the schools have very successful football programs but they are about a 35 minute drive apart. Plus add the religious aspects to it and it gets downright nasty. The trash talking begins before the season starts and doesn't end til the last game of the year. As a Ute fan I must say that I truly hate the BYU Cougars and wish them nothing but misery.
