Instead of acting like a man for once, Bonds has acted like a mouse. And this failed test brings Bonds one step closer to the day he gets busted.
Remember all of the hate Jose Canseco caught for telling tales of the clubhouse? Remember how Rafeal Palmiero was vilified for trying to drag a teammate down with him as a result of his positive steroid test? What Bonds has done is worse than what either of these two did.
As a result of this failed test Bonds won’t be suspended for his amphetamine use, but will now be subjected to six drug tests over the next six months. And if his stock as a human being and a teammate wasn’t low enough already, this instance of duplicity and cowardice will further sully the already less-than-stellar reputation “enjoyed” by Bonds.

Well done, Sal. It seems there truly is no lower for this guy to sink. Only Orenthal is less likable.

It isn't that he 'snitched' on teammates; he outright lies, refuses to accept responsibility (it's everyone else's fault, never his), & behaves like - good adjectives - a selfish, narcissistic lout, a rat, and a spoiled, overprivileged, over-rated legend in his own mind. He should be busted & serve time in jail or in community service where he belongs. As it is, he's overpaid, overrated, and over here.

He is such a Low-Life Scum Bag! No one wants him to play another Inning. He needs to retire and become a hermit somewhere in the rockies.

Yeah, I can totally see why he's getting 16 million a year.

Blamin' it on a teammate. And here I thought steroids took away one's balls.

Good point. It's not about him the ball player anymore. It's about him as a person. He seems to be void of any decency. How bad could his life be for him to be so full of contempt? What could the media (who are far from angels) have done to make him such classless individual? At what point does Barry Bonds look in the mirror? The crying stunt he pulled on that ESPN show was a sad indication of where his mind is. I wonder if anyone took him aside and said, "Hey, Barry it's not cool, man. You're only hurting yourself." It never was about the fans or the media. Bonds obviously has other personal demons to deal with. Some of the best sports writing I ever read were based on the most hardened athletes and coaches of all-time: Cobb, Williams, Bobby Knight etc. The fact that their mercurial if not complex image enthralls us makes for engaging reading if they allow writers near them. In the case of Bonds, someone may not even care. A jerk is a jerk, right? What's more to say?

Bonds is scum. Bean him. Daily.

Or, take Roger Dorn's advice.
Strike that motherfucker out

What was I thinking with all that post modern liberal mumbo jumbo? Have we not learned with Goetz? RJ, you're onto something. 'Don't walk him. Bean him!'

Bonds is pure SCUM and all his records should be addressed my the Commissioner NOW. Bonds did not break Bab Ruths' record in my opinion nor is he close to Hank Aarons recond either. Why is Baseball glorifying him at all, he's a CHEAT, pure and simple and now on top of being a druggie and a cheat he's a Snitch,A RAT and a Low-life to not stand up and take the heat when found out and then to go and blame a team-mate for his Juice is UNFORGIVABLE. BARRY BONDS GET OUT OF THE GAME FOREVER AND EVER!

Frank - The Commissioner, now there's someone who could stand a shot of 'roids to grow a set of "nads"!This is guy who owned the brewers at one time and never put a freakin' penny back into the team, but was one of those owners who cried poverty!I pose this question to all baseball fans:Will Hammerin' Hank be there if and when the 'roid man breaks his record?I'm saying Hank is "old school" and should boycott it.Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio?

Put a fork in him, Sal. As we have seen with Big Mac, Bonds will never be in Cooperstown even with all his "enhanced" homeruns.
