Two American Idol winners have new albums out today. Asheville rocker CALEB JOHNSON‘s Testify “features rock gems and classic ballads with Johnson co-writing more than half the album.” And singer/songwriter KRIS ALLEN‘s Horizon features the single “Prove It To You” featuring Lenachka.
A new jazz-funk album from bass virtuoso and Grammy Award winner STANLEY CLARKE with guests including Stewart Copeland, Chick Corea, Joe Walsh, and Greg Phillinganes comes out Sept. 30.
STEVIE NICKS‘s new solo CD 24 Karat Gold – Songs From The Vault comes out Oct. 7 filled with songs the Fleetwood Mac singer has written between 1969 and 1995 along with Polaroid photos taken by Nicks throughout her career. A special Limited Edition Double Vinyl Album will be released on September 29.
SOMI‘s “New African Jazz and Soul” major label debut The Lagos Music Salon is now out in the U.S. on OKeh Records, debuting at #1 on the iTunes Jazz Chart. COMMON and ANGÉLIQUE KIDJO guest. Stream “When Rivers Cry” at the Wall Street Journal.

Riot-grrl pioneers FRIGHTWIG are back on tour featuring three founding members. The video for “War on Women” plus new song “Hear What I Say” will be released Sept. 16 on a vinyl 7″.
