There are only 34 shopping days left, you know?
34 days ... that's not a great deal of time. Is your Christmas shopping already done and dusted? Are you one of those hyper-organised types that had everything buttoned down at the beginning of November?
If you are, and you have, then good for you. You can sit back, contentedly slurping a mulled wine, smug in the knowledge that everyone around you will be tearing their hair out in a frenzied panic, as they rush to complete their shopping with moments to spare.
If you're not — and God forbid you haven't — then Yahoo! might be able to help you out. At the very least, they're offering you a peak at what the celebrities are asking Santa to bring them.
Yahoo! Tech's Holiday Gift Center recently launched, and the site features some sections that will be sure to come in handy if you're stumped for ideas. From the Gift Finder — a useful wizard system that asks who a gift is for, what your budget is, and what type of gift you need — to the recommendations of the Gift Gurus — an elite team of hand picked writers, representing five tech personas from the Working Guy to the Techie Diva. The Holiday Gift Center is a useful resource for any gift-seeker that's short of inspiration.
And for those of us who have always wanted to know what the celebrities want for Christmas, there's the Celebrity Wish List. Currently featuring Lost star Daniel Dae Kim — who'd really like a MacBook Pro, if you were wondering — the Celebrity Wish List will be a source of inspiration and curiosity combined.
Future celebrities include Nip/Tuck's John Hensley, The Girls Next Door, and — Yahoo! Tech's next featured celebrity — Gabrielle Reece and her husband, Laird Hamilton. Who knows what great items will be on their lists!
Recent weeks have seen the likes of Tyra Banks making her list; although there's no mention of whether she checked it twice ... Apple products feature highly on The America's Next Top Model host's list too. She'd quite like a red iPod Nano, if Santa's listening.
For the clueless or the curious, the Gift Center has something to offer. It's an attractive, well laid out site, that doesn't melt your eyeballs, or force you to wade through a sea of tedious Flash animation, to get to what you want.
