When You Leave The Internet, Do You Die? - Comments Page 4

Those who get into porn with glee would never know the name of Angela Devi.

Those who get into porn with glee would never know the name of Angela Devi. With so many entering and leaving the industry, one girl from the next is hard to personally care about. For many of her fans, there has been an unusual mix of mystery and heartbreak at the swirling rumors that she has passed away. However because of the anonymity of the Internet, does anyone really care if a person suddenly leaves it?…

30+ year old Angela Shunali Dhingra existed at the very least, if not her internet persona, 26+ year old Angela Devi. I mourn the real human being that was behind the public facade.

Before I say anything more about Angela, let me say that I have the utmost admiration to all of you guys. It's only on this site that I have come across both a sense of freedom to disucss as well as a sense of goodwill directed to everyone amongst ourselves.

For me, I hazzard a guess that there never was that much of a distinction between the real-life Angela and Angela Devi. After seeing all those photos and videos, I really find it hard to believe that her "in front of a camera" life was so drastically different than who she was that she could be legitimately be classified as a fraud, or some sort of money chaser.

Ok, so money, right? Sure, she needed the money. Well, guess what? Who doesn't? With the money issue put aside, I beleive she enjoyed modeling and talking to us in the manner she did. I conjecture, that she organzied her thoughts and emotions around each video/photo shoot and then put forth her very best effort to project who she really was into every smile, bending position, laugh, and endless rambling statements (that I myself loved so much!!). Yes, there were titles, characters, backdrops that she used ... well so what?? Did that diminish her, or make her less real?? Why would we hold that against her? She was trying to make it entertaining because that's what she thought we wanted. Isn't that we all wanted? There were lots of guys out there who bought her stuff, right?

Really guys, yes, there was the name "Angela Devi", but let's not get so wrapped up in this so called distinction between names, characters.
Every time Angela was in front of a camera or her "infamous" tripod, that was Anglea Dhingra talking to us/looking at us. Angela Devi may have been the character being played, but ultimately it was Angela Dhingra who made that character come to life. Her life, in flesh, in front of our own very dreamy eyes.

One last note ... and you bet I don't mind telling, reminding us all about this. Just tonight, I did take a look at one of my favorite pcitures of her. No, it wasn't a naughty photo as she used to say ... it was just a close up of Angela's face with the greatest smile you can imagine. I looked at it very closely, and I asked myself, so was this person, that I have such a strong emotional bond to, real or not? Was she a facade, mirage, fake?

Well, you know what my answer was. That smile of hers ... no way, that was fake. It was as sweet and sincere as a smile that I'll see from ANYONE IN MY WHOLE LIFETIME!!

And to that I thank Angela. Without her, I wouldn't have ever know what was probably one of the best, warmest smiles that anyone eveer had who graced this planet.

Peace and cheers, and as Angela would always say ... "you guys are the greatest".

I mean that as well too!!

    Damare,

I remember that picture. It's one to keep isn't it? So simple, but yet so sweet. I liked her so-called naughty pictures, just like any other guy, but my real favorites were the simple pictures. Close-ups, with her wonderful smile in center view. To me, that's when Angela's true beauty showed; the smile always said it all and I think it showed unequivocally that she was genuine. It im this sense, that she was so differentiated from all the other hot internet models. That smile never failed, or lied to anyone. It was pure Angela.

You picked a great picture to hang on the wall!!

When I was referring last week to her smile, it was from a different photo set. It was from her "Front Door Flashing" photo-set. In the pciture she has her see-through dress on, and she is kneeled down, sitting on the floor.

She has her head cocked ever so slightly, and she is just emitting this warm, sweet smile. No pearly whites showing, nothing overly dramatic ... just her lips formed in her ever so sweet smile. The picture was probably glossed over by many guys, but for me .. well ... it was Angelic. It's beauty was so subtly gentle, truthful and endearing.

It's the way I like to remember her.

Damare, please post anytime here on blogcritics that you want to about Angela. I'll talk about Angela any day of the week. She'll live with us in our hearts, for the rest of our lives.

You and I will never be able to totally forget her. It's just the way that it is. Don't fight it ... it's a wonderful thing!! Love it!! It was Angela!!

    Peace out to everyone ...

    Sincerely,
    ChicagoGuy

    Ah...Magic!

Very nice choice ChicagoGuy. How could anyone not want to fall in love with such an angelic presence?

Just imagine coming home every day to that beautiful smile...

Ah Damare, you are just too good .. yup, that's the picture. Your favorite picture is pretty tough to beat though ... geez, can one really pick a favorite picture of Angela?? Pretty tough to do ...

Hey, today is a special day!! So special was the time that I became aware of Angela, I actually remember that day! 5 Years ago, almost to this hour!! Within a week, I was entranced by Angela. I do not exagerate! I fell in love with her so quick, honest to God. I swear it was true.

To those who read this, some will direct derision, suspicion, scorn .. to them, what can I say? Sorry? If it makes them feel better, then I do.

Honestly, I don't feel any shame or self-doubt. How does one decide who is the girl in your lifetime that is the "Apple of your Eye"?? Is that something you can decide? Angela just was and still is ... it just happened when I clicked on that very first pic of hers. What else can I say? BTW, It was her cute Sherriff Joe Picture about that terrible, hot prison camp. So cute ...

Angela was a beautiful person and falling in love with the girl was a very personal thing that was beautiful to me in all its charms, emotions and becomings ... I'm 5 years older, but I think I'm a more complete person for having trusted in myself to express, and to endeavor ... Angela was worth my every emotion, even when it hurt "really bad" at the time of her passsing. Life at its fullest .. Issac Asimov had things to say about these sort of matters.

Certainly, Angela's passing is a pain that never quite goes away. We miss her in a big way. From 5 years ago, to her passing, all the way to this momemnt, so many emotions, so many songs in my head. Some very exhilarating, some very painful ...

And to the kiss I had always wanted to give her so many years later when she was so much older; to thank her for being who she was. From day 1, I had hoped for that, 5 years ago today.

To the things I know so well ... and to those that will never be.

Dreams, and to the stuff that makes dreams, and to that which makes us ...

I typed all this and I won't go back and edit it, check it. Such that is ...

Ok, God bless to everyone, anyone!!

    We miss you Angela!!

Peace to all and with a little tear,
    ChicagoGuy

PS post back again when you get the chance Damare. Your word is like Gold to me.

    Hi Anjela fans
She has made her point in life, not by her lovely body, but by keeping us guessing as to her very existence. I do not believe the stories just b'cos angels do not die. I respect her right to live off the screen. If we have sleepless nights then it's our problem, not hers.
Dear Anjela, just a word that you are around and happy is all that we want.

    Love

Another year has come and gone. A new one begins. Each new year brings fresh hope and joy, but never quite erases the pain or tragedy of the past. Angie, wherever you are, I hope you're smiling at it all.

Hello All, and happy new year

It has been nearly two years since I have weighed in on this subject, but in that time my questions have not been answered - neither for nor against concluding that Angela is deceased.

I will reproduce my last post here:

Quote Anonymous:"Again, the belief is that foul play is involved. Her family is still perplexed by her partial suicide note, as it made no sense to them. Perhaps she was forced to write it, and refereced "last Monday" as some date of significance, which really had no significance at all. Could it be that she was leaving a clue while drafting a suicide note that she was forced to create? She was a very confused and screwed up woman, but she was very smart. "

Quote school mate:"IN THE LAST YEAR I HAVE SEEN HER AT HER PARENTS HOUSE WITH HER HUSBAND APROX. 3-4 TIMES."

The human mind loves a puzzle, and you'll forgive me if I'm having trouble figuring out what's going on here.

    A) has anyone called to verify the Arizona report?

    B) has anyone got photo proof she lives?

I thought she was really cute, and it's a shame she's gone. I hope (for her and her familys sake) that only the identity 'Angela Devi' died on that day.

P.S. the only reason i'm interested in this topic is the inconsistencies.... had the lady declared herself out of the business I doubt I'd pay it a second look, but this suicide with doubts is odd.

My questions remain the same, my postscript remains true - I am interested in the apparent inconsistencies, both in the for and against believing she is gone cases.

Foxes.com has started posting Angela's sets to download again. It seems a little odd, maybe even a little morbid, but I guess whatever it takes to earn money in these hard times... Being deceased never stopped other celebrities from being able to generate profits from their past works and images so maybe I shouldn't be surprised. I hope her family will get the proceeds from any new earnings generated by foxes.com's re-release of her material.

Hmmm...on second thought, what better way for that particular website to honor her memory than to re-release her old clubs? So I guess what foxes.com did makes sense. Foxes.com openly acknowledges Angela Devi as deceased, but also states that she was one of their absolute top models of all time.

It's almost 50 years ago that someone and a few significant others passed away before their time ...

For that someone, he once wrote a verse that went like this, if I got it allright:

Well allright, so I've been foolish
Well allright, so let people know
Bout the dreams and wishes you wish for
In the night when lights are low ..

I often think of this for all of my friends here who have expressed their grief at Angela's passing. For the finality of her passing, for the pain that you've felt, for how your head has been spun this and that way wanting to know the truth, and for your thoughts of her when the night has turned quiet and the lights are low ..

    It's all allright ...

    Peace,
    ChicagoGuy

Wow I actually read all of that, I came onto this blog just digging around, I've always bee intrigued by the whole thing and everything that surrounds the case, I began as a fan of the imagery she portrayed and eventually gained a kind of respect and admiration beyond physical looks.

Anyway, I'm a graphic artist by trade, I specialize in the music industry, but around 04, I did a graphic using her images, I'd post it here but I wiped my hard drive and forgot to port it over, with all I learned art wise since then I think I'd like another shot at remaking that particular graphic.

The original was tasteful, nothing really pornographic outside of a couple of nude images by the side, but the main focal point was mirroring images of a close up shot of her face, I used two different pictures, maybe you can help me identify them and if you got them shoot them to me so I can do the graphic work again, the pic was a close up of her face as she was laying on her back, sort of a top down view I guess, there were two different versions of this I guess the differences were subtle facial expressions.

But yeah, if ya'll would like the tribute graphic, I'd like to remake it, just hit me back with those pics and I'll get to work, the whole thing is pretty sad thinking about it again as it is, I made the original as practice to sharpen my skills and I think I can go into this now as more of a tribute than practice.

Actually, let me elaborate more on why I'd like to redo the image, asides from the fact that I lost it and would like to remake it, I feel I at least owe her some sort of tribute because it was that graphic those years ago that was one of the foundations of what would become my base style, the color tones and the techniques I developed really helped to further my development as a graphic artist, I learned a lot of tricks when working on that graphic that I still use to this day and I'd like to revisit that graphic as a small thank you no matter how small or trivial the gesture may be...

If any of you knew me on a face to face basis, in the daily life sort of sense, you'd know how much I love music, love lyrics and the all ... at heart, I'm an integrator.

I want to share something with all of you.

I remember distinctly the debate on wikipedia as to Angela's fate just a few short weeks after her alleged passing. In particular, I remember one gentleman who was the first, maybe the first on the internet period??, who worded anything remotely pertianing to her ultimate fate and how it occured, namely that she hung herself in her house, etc... When I read his post, I was overcome with horror, and it was a poignant moment that I will never forget to say the least ...

Continuing on, within a few minutes of having read the post on Wikipedia, I by chance happened to listen to a song by Cream on one of my Pandora Stations, titled "Dance the Night Away".

If you ever have the chance, you should listen to it. It's one of their lesser know songs, but to me, the lyrics, the searing guitar background, the dreamy, sad lyrics and Baker's ever present bass drum make for this feeling best described as desperate and overhwelmed, to the point of leaving it all ...

Read the lyrics ... A castle in the sky to me, symbolizes the house she moved in, and the hope that it represented...

Loose these streets and crowds, has always seemed to be what I first thought they sounded liked ... close these strings and cry ... as in Angela closing the blinds to her house in her ultimate despair and giving way to her ultimate fate.

Gonna turn myself to shadow sounds like a vow to leave it all in the most ultimate manner ...

To me, Clapton's guitar is searing, poignant, and complete in its quest to paint pictures in the sky of the colours Angela so desperately needed to see outside her home.

And then at the song's end, Baker's thorough crashing of his cymbal set, which if you listen to it, sounds so perfect as to sound, like as in something falling, falling in its path, then crashing to its finality. I think you know what this represents to me.

There are other songs that hold weighty symbolism to me as well concerning Angela, but they shall wait for a later date. I just thought this date would be appropriate for a post such as this, being a sad time of the year.

Thanks for listening, and Angela we love you very much!!

    Cheers,
    ChicagoGuy
