I don't believe Angela would kill herself over a man, or a married man. I doubt seriously that Angela would end her life over her finance problems. There is "No-Way" you can just ask for a police report, and it's done. That would mean that it's ok to give out personal information to a complete stranger. The only way to access her personal information, would be through a lawyer or her family. Police report would have Angela address, etc and that is personal information, and could put her life or her family lives at risk, because you never know what someone might do with knowing where she leaves or used to leave. Bottom line, it’s really none of our business when it comes to her personal life.
Ok, here's what get's under my skin when it comes to all the rumors about Angela attempting suicide once before. HOW IN THE HELL OR WHY IN THE HELL, would you not pay close attention to Angela's frame of mind, and if you know the girl attempted suicide once before, did they not think that she would do it again, or try to get Angela some "Serious Help ! If I were Angela friend or best friend, I would talk her into seeking professional help, and ride stay on her like "white on rice" everyday. Yes, Angela is a grown woman, and can do whatever she wants to do, but if she is heading down the wrong path of course I'm going to step up to the plate, and find some help, or a treatment center. Angela is no different then a drug addict needing help to fight their addiction. If Angela is deceased, then leave her at peace. Angela kept her personal just that "personal" Allot of us didn't know much about Angela's personal life while she was still living (that's if she really did die) so what right do we haveto seek her personal information in death.

Just_The_Facts: A police report is a matter of public record. Even a suicide report. The personal information you mention, such as driver's liscense number, phone number, SS number, all that is (and by law, must be) redacted, but the text of the report, including the name, IS public information.
As for the suicide itself (assuming of course it actually happened), the sad truth is that people who appear happy and well adjusted to outsiders commit suicide all the time. It's, frankly, absurd for any total stranger who only ever knew her by her web persona to say he doesn't believe she'd do it for whatever reason, especially when we have no idea at all what the reason was. It could have been over money or love, or it could have been because she was severely bipolar or depressed and had no external reason at all.
I'm not going to condemn her friends, either. It's interesting you bring up drug addicts as an analogy to the suicidally depressed: it's very apt, in perhaps more ways than you realize. You cannot force your friends into rehab no matter how badly they need it; if they don't make the decision themselves, they won't make it because you're pushing them. Believe me, I know this from hard experience. There's very little they could have done that they weren't, by the police report, already doing. If she was well and truly determined to kill herself, nothing this side of involuntary institutionalization stood a good chance of stopping it. And she apparently had her friends and her doctor believing she wasn't as bad off as she actually was. Another tragically common occurance with suicides.
You are, however, exactly right about Foxes: I don't think Softwood is anywhere near what it is today without Angela. Why Woody hasn't said anything is a mystery, but since I know nothing at all about the guy, and we're STILL not entirely sure if Angela is dead or just "left the internet", as this blog post is titled, I'm not going to speculate about his motives.

If you go to the Vital Records office of the State of Arizona, it tells you there that the State of Arizona is a CLOSED RECORD STATE. That means that you can's simply request things like death certificates and police reports without proof of a connection to a subject...

Police reports are not a "vital record". There's no mention of them at all in the administrative statute that specifies who can request birth certificates, death certificates, marriage liscenses, and the like (Title 9, Section 19). Arizona being a closed state is actually more circumstantial evidence that she's dead, because that would explain why no death certificate has shown up.
On the other hand, pursuant to ARS 39-121.01, public records ARE available to the public on request. "Any person may request to examine or be furnished copies, printouts or photographs of any public record during regular office hours or may request that the custodian mail a copy of any public record not otherwise available on the public body's web site to the requesting person." Vital records are closed, but public records are not, and police reports are public records. The closed records law requires police agencies to redact certain information from police reports when making copies for the public, but the text of the report is public and available to anyone who requests it, at least so far as I can tell by reading the relevant laws.
Of course, this could all be settled once and for all if a second person requests a copy of that police report from the Scottsdale PD. Any takers?

You may print, forge, copy any unproven fact on Angela Devi it will not be accepted. Until CNN Headline News or ABC, NBC,CBS states that Ms.Devi expired back near the end of March 2006 anything you read on the internet is false. You need to look into why Woody is "NO-LONGER OWNS OR MANAGES FOXES,AND THE REST OF THE SITES HE "USED TO OWN".

I knew her personally in grade school as she was a classmate of mine. At that time, her name was Shanali Dhingra, but we referred to her as "Shanu". Some referred to her as "Shamu", as she was a bit heavy-set. She must have acquired the name "Angela" at a later date.
I know her family personally, though I admit that I haven't seen or spoken with "Angela" in many years. She is indeed dead.
The family did not want any press and did not want the case investigated further. I can understand why. Her father recently discovered that he has cancer. Her mother recovered from breast cancer some years ago. They are not in the best of health, and did not want the stress of a lingering case. Her family is very nice and well educated. Her brother recently finished medical school. They are all polar opposites of the former "Angela". They did know of her chosen profession all along, but it was a topic that they never discussed. The discussion came up between them and another acquantance of mine, but not with me directly. My visit to the family's home prior to her death revealed no recent pictures of her in plain view, and yes, I did know of her profession at that time. It is my understanding that she was a completely out of control 30+ year old woman with lots of personal issues. There are unconfirmed rumors that she even had a prior lesbian marriage.
She was very promiscuous even in her younger days, though not nearly as attractive as she was in her recent pictures. There are some stories I could tell.
I can't elaborate further, but my belief is foul play. The porn business has a very dangerous dark side. I've seen posts in here about some of you wanting an explanation on her website. Did you ever think that maybe foul play could be involved? Especially if she was due to be married and wanted out of the business(to the dismay of those that were paying her to pose)? She was the biggest money-maker for Foxes, and sometimes greed defies logic or reason.

I can say that I have school yearbooks that would prove that she and I were classmates. I also informed you of her real name and various nicknames in school. She and I attended school together in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Baton Rouge Preparatory School and Parkview Baptist School after Baton Rouge Prep shut down). She was a girl that was the butt of all ridicule in our class, as she was a bit heavy set back then. She and her family lived very close to the home where I grew up. Her family still resides in Louisiana, but they had a stint where they lived in Arizona. My guess is that "Angela" decided to stay there and not go back to Louisiana, got involved with porn, and the rest is history.
She rarely visited her family in Louisiana, so I can honestly say that I did not see her for many years.
Again, the choice to believe me is yours. You can take it or leave it. I never mentioned that she was "deep into hardcore porn" in my post. Where did you see that? I did say that there is belief that she had a prior lesbian marriage that was eventually nullified.
Her body was cremated (based on Indian custom) shortly after her death. The family made sure that any records of her death were not made public. They kept everything airtight.
She DID want out of porn, and would not do this to herself. Again, the belief is that foul play is involved. Her family is still perplexed by her partial suicide note, as it made no sense to them. Perhaps she was forced to write it, and refereced "last Monday" as some date of significance, which really had no significance at all. Could it be that she was leaving a clue while drafting a suicide note that she was forced to create? She was a very confused and screwed up woman, but she was very smart.

Regarding foul play, I can honestly tell you that the family believes it was foul play. An autopsy would not reveal this. Rumor is that the boyfriend/fiancee was involved in porn, but worked as a loan officer during the day. She wanted out of porn. She was the biggest revenue generator for Foxes, and someone didn't want her to leave.
Her family is putting this behind them. They have health issues and did not have the energy to pursue litigation. Her brother is the polar opposite, and recently finished medical school. She comes from a good family, but took the wrong fork in the road some years back.
To those that keep waiting for her to return, you will be waiting for a long time. Again, she is indeed dead.

Having seen the lengthy police investigation report, I'm lead to believe this is real and that she is indeed dead.
Some of the reasons I can think of as to why this is real are:
1. Indian heritage. Indian parents are known to be very strict, and if her parents only recently found out about her involvement in the industry, that could have sent a whirlwind into Angela's life. One that she couldn't handle.
2. It's well known for female pornstars to battle depression.
3. As much as we want to believe it's a hoax, there is a 9-page police report going into much detail on her death. That's quite alot of work just to fake someone's death.
I'm so saddened by this, as she was so young with so much to give and had already given alot of pleasure to many people. I don't want to believe it, but I'm afraid I do.
We just lost one of the industry's best.

Wow - I guess I am late to the news here. I found Angela through Foxes back in 1998 or 1999. I have been aware of her continued presence on the internet long after I canceled my Foxes subscription. I stumbled onto this news almost by accident today and am deeply saddened to learn that Angela by most accounts seems to have committed suicide.
Angela was a woman of spectacular beauty. I truly have never seen another female who equaled her exotic looks. She was quite simply stunning and it is so sad to learn of her untimely demise. Angela RIP.

It was one year ago this weekend that my life changed forever. It was then that my very good friend, Angela, died. I know Foxes.com is a fantasy web site. I know you are here for enjoyment. I appreciate you being here and will always do my best to keep you happy. I struggled with whether or not to mention the one year anniversary of Angela's passing. It wasn't because I don't think of Angela -- actually, I think of her almost every day. She was my true friend.
Often on the way to somewhere else I must drive down this particular street in Scottsdale, a street next to one of the places she used to live. I can't help but turn my head toward that gate to where she lived and think of her. I think of her other times too. I think of her coming in to our office to brighten up everyone's day here. I think of her phone calls. Most of all, I think of how I wish I could have made a difference so she would still be here with us. I miss you, Angela, very much!
So now I know many of you miss her too. Angela is still special to all of us. I have a feeling that Angela never really knew how much she was cared for by all of you. I believe that she can see this now, knows this now, and this makes her happy. We will never forget her. I hope Angela is in peace now -- hope she has found her happiness -- hope she looks back on her time here on this earth with far better thoughts than when she left us. with respect, there have been several (judging by what they have revealed about her)genuine posters on here claiming to know her personally. Each of them maintain that she is no longer with us. period. Added to that, we have a Police report documenting her death and (amongst other things)and no new news (of any kind) that in any way contradicts the above.
In your three post's to date, you have claimed she is alive. However in the absence of any evidence, let alone proof other than a phone call you said you made to the present occupant of AD's former address, you'll forgive me if I am highly skeptical of your claims.
Indeed it would help if you could let us know the details of your recent conversation, it would be easier than hassling the present occupier, a Mr Chris Manion.

TO CONMAN. THE HOUSE HAS BEEN OWNED FOR THE LAST SEVEN YEARS BY CHRIS MANIONS UNCLE AND AUNT. HE'S BEEN LIVING THERE FOR THE LAST 1.5 YEARS.A FRIEND I WAS IN THE ARMY WITH IS A POLICE OFFICER IN AZ. HE SAID THE REPORT IS FAKE, THAT ANYONE WITH A COMPUTER CAN MAKE ONE.HE ALSO SAID THAT AFTER LOOKING HER UP IN THE DATABASE, SHE RECEIVED A SPEEDING TICKET DEC 2006!!! NOW ISN'T THAT A MIRACLE!

For one moment, I actually believed you were about to uncover something new when in reality you have provided nothing not already known by many. I won't spend too long on your comments other than to say...
1. Of course she got a ticket in 2006, she was actually due to appear in Court 1 day before her death and an arrest warrant issued because she did not show up. She commited suicide on the next day, again in 2006. This info is available for free on the arizona court records
2. You say that you have a friend in Police Force who says its fake. Well now... thats conclusive undisputable proof is'nt it! lol.
3. You STILL have not told us what was said in your alleged conversation with Chris Manion other than to say the house is owned by his Aunt & Uncle and that he's lived there for 1.5 years... So what! Angela Devi died 1.5 years ago so it figures.
Where is she now then?, did she leave a forwarding address for her mail with either Mr Manion or his Aunt/Uncle? Did she give notice she was leaving?, how long Did the place stand empty before Mr Manion moved in? Did Angela personally hand the keys to the flat back herself.? Has Mr Manion even seen her in Person? Did she provide any means by which she may be contacted with regards to any unpaid bills etc?
Did you ask your "Policeman Friend", When in 2006 did she get a ticket? Was it after March 30th 2006? In April, May, June? When!!
To me, The above are obvious questions for a person to ask as each would provide strong circumstacial or solid evidence of her being alive after March 30th 2006 when she allegedly died. I'm sure that had you spoken to him to Chris Manion as claimed in an earlier post, you would have provided an answer to at least one of these Questions, but have you? NO!!!!!
I seriously doubt you even spoke to him.

Just noticed the date of DEC on the parking ticket but even so, IF true, without further information confirming what name (i.e the defendant) under which the the ticket was issued and in which state? i.e something more than just your word for it, you can hardly claim that this conclusive, at least not to rational people.
