Almost makes me wish I had an iPhone. Hopefully this app will evolve to other smartphones with touch screens as well, like the HTC Touch and Google Droid platforms. Six-String works on the iPod Touch and iPad as well. The iTunes Store retails the app for $4.99 — pricey but affordable when compared to a game like Guitar Hero which would be the most obvious competitor.

Hi there.. I have no clue. I don't know what 007play.com is and I would think ask the site or your nokia tech support

looks like so much fun to me-- I am just waiting for the app for other smartphones-- and other instruments I am betting will come along too

Granted, as a musician, I cannot stand games like Guitar Hero & Rock Band,BUT, I don't think that this game is any more of an accurate way to actually play an instrument then those other games(come on, you press a button that says change chord). Actually, I would think that having a person hold a replica of an instrument, during game play or mimicry, would pose a better chance of getting said person into actually learning how to play that instrument.
Overall, I understand that it's just a game to keep someone occupied but if they like music so much, why not buy a cheap used instrument and spend that time wisely?! Hell, if you can afford an iPhone then a guitar shouldn't break the bank...

you pose some great comments and I have no guitar experience (but a lot of piano experience). Just getting used to a fingering approach would be helpful -- and I see this being sort of in that realm than playing Guitar Hero. Besides this one can be done anywhere and not have you plugged into a TV which the portability was a key feature on this. I think of it as a game to be done while waiting in an airport, waiting in queue at a restaurant or in a bar playing with friends.
It doesn't replace actual lessons.
