And the #1 app from June 2009 is…
1: Quickoffice Mobile
One of the things that has been keeping the iPhone from reaching a wide business audience is the lack of any real Microsoft Office support. Sure, you could read and view documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs, but you really couldn’t alter them if you wanted to. That is where Quickoffice steps in. The application allows you to open all sorts of documents, edit them, save them, and send them. The UI is extremely easy to use, and it feels native to your fingers. I often thought the I would never find a good office suite on the iPhone until Microsoft released one, but Quickoffice surprised me. Though it seems expensive at $19.99 a pop, it is essential for any business person.
Well, folks, there you have it, the top 10 iPhone and iPod Touch applications from June 2009. If you wanted to buy all of these applications, you would be set back only $37.95, and Quickoffice is half of it! However, you also will need to pay the monthly fee for Sirius Radio if you are interested in it. If you have any suggestions for next month's list, or want to tell me what I missed, please let me know in the comment field.

Google docs is nowhere near as inclusive, nor is it as useful. Having a dedicated application lets you open everything nativly, save it, email it, and, more importantly, use it when not online.
