Hello, and welcome to the sixth installment of iWant, iNeed, iRecommend. This is a monthly series that will, simply put, present the top ten iPhone and iPod Touch applications from that month. At the end of the year, the 120 mentioned applications will then go head to head to see which apps become the top ten for the year. If you would like to read my previous top ten lists, as well as all my other iPhone and iPod Touch application reviews, you can see them here. While this list is subjective (as are all top ten lists), I did my best to base this on actual use, not my own opinion. Enjoy.
10: Baseball Scorecard
Ahh baseball, America’s pastime. A game where stats and records stand the test of time, and one where you can always compare the achievements of one player to another, no matter when they played. To bring about this comparison, stats are very carefully recorded and used by players, coaches, and fans alike. Baseball Scorecard takes away your pen and paper, and instead lets you use you iPhone or iPod Touch to keep track of the game. It gives you rolling menus, which allow you to select the hit, the play, the strike, etc. You can add teams, edit teams, and even print out full stats. Baseball Scorecard will allow you to do all of this, while setting you back just $3.99
9: MovieLingo
Avalinx is a company that has been on my top 10 list several times. Though they normally have entries from their PRO series of cards games, they are on the list for a different type of application this month. MovieLingo is an application that gives you quotes, and then asks if you if you know what movie they are from. While this is simple, it is enjoyable as you can test yourself, create games with friends, and even remember old favorites. Plus, as I love trivia, this helps the app out quite a bit. You can hear some quotes from MovieLingo for absolutely nothing.

Just use google docs on the phone
it is easier and free

Google docs is nowhere near as inclusive, nor is it as useful. Having a dedicated application lets you open everything nativly, save it, email it, and, more importantly, use it when not online.
