The Healthy Skeptic: Stay Away From Heightmax! - Comments Page 2

Part of: The Healthy Skeptic

Heightmax is a supplement that you should NOT give to your children.

As a professional strength and conditioning coach, I am extremely wary of 99.99% of all dietary supplements that are on the market, and with good reason, since most of the claims attached to these panaceas are NOT backed up by real scientific proof of efficacy. As the head strength coach of a high school, I am extremely sensitive to any of these products that are marketed towards kids.…

My 6'1" son is beging permission to buy height maxx. He is obsessed with becoming as tall as he possibly can.

I always remind him that the measure of a man is not how tall he is.

there is no such thing as a height booster....don't you think if there was such a substance that the drug companies would be all over it? and anything that powerful would be haevily regulated by the FDA.

check comment 17 above to find a link to the FDA's site for filing complaints...that's probably the most effective action that a person can take at this point.

I just received a refund from the FTC. They filed a lawsuit against Sunny Health about their deceptive marketing practices, which included Heightmax can make kids and young adults grow taller. Read the article at the FTC website

Thanks again, Sal, on your recommendation - see comments 16, 17 and 18.

Just like comment# 33, I too had received a refund from the FTC. I was fooled, HeightMax did absolutely nothing for me. Don't buy this junk, it's a scam. If this product worked in the first place, it would've been flying off the shelves. I was already suspicious from the get-go and now those suspicions have been confirmed. Avoid like the plague.

Comment on the Kimi thing... yes, I was desperate to increase my height as well... I was willing to try anything and I came upon that in the first place... I bought it and wear it as suggested, but got nothing good out of it as in height except for the blister. I threw them away after that. After all, it is not even comfortable. Do not buy it.

How does one get this refund? I was one of the purchasers of this heightmax, yes I was stupid too. I tried this when I was 19. No results whatsoever. I'm 23 now. Much wiser now.

To reinforce the comment on Kimi soles and MFIII pills, they don't work.

I actually bought the Kimi soles and MFIII package together from their website. Whats a waste of $200+, but at that moment I was desperate.

I got plenty of nasty blisters from the soles, enough to see blood seeping into my socks. Really uncomfortable at first, esp when doing physical activities,

The MFIII pills didn't really make me feel anything in paticular. They smelled live liver, supposedly coming from sheep's blood cells, and they I didn't feel any different when taking them. MFIII is the worst of the two I think, I mean as a scam.

If you're really interested in investing in the soles though, I'd recommend just buying the YOKO soles off ebay. They're way cheaper, and don't buy in to the free e-book. Its not worthless information, but you can readily find the information by research and from various health books.

Lastly the customer service was horrible. Contacting the company via email, I'd post questions about the usage of Kimi soles and their effectiveness. The answers I received were blantly short. I got the subliminal message that teh person didn't give a s*** about me, and it didn't seem he knew what the hell he was talking about or doing.Pluse it took several days to a week to get a response.

To sum it up, horrible service from teh guys at Kimi, and wasted money on their hoax.

Now I'm going to try Growth Booster Plus or Super-Growth formula, although I don't know what shape they supplement comes in.

Anybody has any take on the aforementioned? thanks.

hey did you try the growth booster plus ? im thinking about getting it , i tried growth flex v and they are a scam . I purchased 3 bottles for 3 months and gained nothing , and their customer services sucked .

let me know if anyone got any products that works .
im 5'9 and wants to reach at least 6'0 .

i tried growth flex v also for 3 months and followed their whole exercising routines and ate all healthy and gained nothing! and their customer service sucked .They only want to talk on emails and they takes weeks to reply .

About Mf3 , i think it just makes your bones younger so im assuming that you have to talk some hormones booster with it and take it over months to work cause i heard it worked for alot of people in switzerland, but dont take my word for it . Thats what im gonna try .
anyone tried super-growth.com, growthenhancer.com . Let me know if something is working for someone . Im 23 and 5'9 and really hate it .

    PLease share results people !

hi i need to buy KIMI .. Is it works

  • 46 - Kevin

    Jun 21, 2009 at 11:53 pm

    this product actually does work
one of my friends that is 16 was about my height 5'5' and his doctor said he wouldn't grow anymore
he told the doctor he wanted to take this instead of the hgh injections so the doctor said okay as long as he came in for check ups
he took the pill for a couple months and now he is 6'1'
his doctor says everything is working perfect in his body
so i'm pretty sure this product works
i just told my parents about it the other day and we're going to go talk to my doctor about it soon

I have used yoko soles and they worked for me a little bit, may be 1 inch per year. But not very much. I suppose wearing them for another year could boost one more inch.

I used HeightMax pills for a month in 2004 and after the first month I have horrible ECZEMA until now. Had taken these pills was the biggest mistake of my life and I regret it so much. I would sue this company if it's still a viable business!!!!
