Script Kiddies Score With "The President is Dead!"

The DEF CON kids at Script Kiddies scored a major success, if we can view it that way, with announcements at a popular Twitter site this holiday weekend that “Barack Obama has passed; the President is dead.” The shocking while untrue news was released at about 9 AM on the morning of the Fourth of July in a series of unexpected tweets at the FoxNewsPolitics Twitter account.

The reports made the statement that the President of the United States was shot and died in Iowa; the President had been assassinated. They went on to claim that Vice President Joe Biden was now running the country. Contained in the tweets were the symbols,"H4CK3D BY TH3 5CR1PT K1DD3S." The invaders to the site made subtle changes to the Fox logo to aid in their deception.
