I am opposed to the death penalty for a variety of reasons, but IF we are going to have the death penalty I'd like to see it applied to child pornographers, and those who spam for it.

These blankety-blanks are going to convince me to give up email for good sooner rather than later. Of course, I do not advocate killing them -- I say send 'em to prison where they will suffer for their crimes against humankind.

DEFINITELY not taking sides, but I would like to point out that these particular spammers are not child pornographers, they're just scammers trying to get recipients to send their credit card info. They are, of course, using fear, which has proven to be a good incentive.
I remember reading that out of some 15 billion daily emails, 5 billion are crap like this....maybe more. I may give up email myself.

when i get in to work after the weekend the amount of spam is frightening. out of an average of around 250 emails, about 225 of them are spam.
