RIAA suit victim Jesse Jordan has received 100% of the $12,000 payment to the RIAA his settlement required through donations - not exactly the "lesson" the RIAA wanted to impart:

Also, see here and here for the almost unbelievable display of petulance on the part of the RIAA: they didn't like things Jordan had to say on CNN after the settlement and tried to have it rescinded. Could it be possible that Hilary Rosen was the SANE one in the organization?
