Internet TV - What Do We Know About It?

More and more people want to watch their favorite movies and TV programs at a convenient time. To do so, you may turn on a TV, though you can also use your own computer. Let's say that your wife is watching a soap opera, but you want to watch football? Why buy a second TV? Simply turn on your computer or laptop and go to the Internet.

In the world there are about 190 countries, and each country has its own broadcast channels, public or private, also cable TV (analog and digital signal). There is also a lot of TV satellites. The most famous of which are Hotbird (Europe), Turksat (Turkey), Arabsat (Arab countries), AsiaSat (asian countries), Yamal (Russia), NTV (Russia). Worldwide, there are about 5000 channels, some of which are very popular and well-known. If the country is very big, it has a lot of TV channels.

For many, the phrase "Internet TV" seems well-known, but what does it really mean? Internet television allows the viewing of films, programs and telecasts by users via the Internet in real time. There are several ways of broadcasting via the Internet. You may watch Internet broadcasting out of various genre: news, sports, religious channels, programs for children, art and documentary films, educational programs, excursions to museums, as well as broadcasts via web cams from different places on the Earth.

What should I do to join the army of online TV viewers?

First of all, you need an Internet connection. You will need to install a fast web browser, such as Google Chrome.  Next, you'll likely need to Install a plug-in for the browser which you have, depending on the stream on server (Windows Media Player plug-in, VLC plug-in, Real Player or Flash plug-in). Also you need to have a broadband Internet channel with bandwidth of not less than 1 MB per second.
