Hardware Review: Samsung 8GB SD Card – Class 10

Part of: Reviews in Brief

Here’s a look at the Samsung 8GB SD Memory card which is a Class 10, perfect for recording HD video. The card itself looks great and seems to be well built, about as much as anyone would expect a memory card to be. It’s made of plastic.

Other than that, have a look at the Gallery of images below, and a quick video review, where we show you just how well the card reads and writes data when recording in full 1080p HD. It’s a great card, and didn’t show any choppy bits of video, which is great when you’re trying to keep a smooth looking HD video. Hopefully the price will be competitive as Kingston and Sandisk Cards have come down substantially over the last year or so. At the time of this review, no price points were given for the card.

    Hi!

    Thanks for the review!

Im interested in this SDHC (in the 16GB version). Did it really reach the write speed of 21 MB/s?? I need at least 20 real MB/s for burst shots in my DSLR.
