Get Free MS Security CD

Microsoft issues tons of security updates and service packs to fix bugs and plug security holes in their products. If you have a broadband Internet connection, you can use Windows Update to download these yourself from the Microsoft web site.

Other people may subscribe to Microsoft TechNet, which also includes these fixes, along with lots of other reference material. However, that's pricey and aimed more at the IT pros.

Now, if you want to get all the critical updates, but have a pokey old dialup connection, Microsoft wants to give you a CD shipped free of charge. It will have all the critical updates released by Microsoft through October 2003. It's also supposed to have information to help you protect your PC. There will also be trial editions of some AV and firewall software.

This CD is only available for Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows 98 Second Edition (SE).

Help put a small dent in Microsoft's billions. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/cd/order.asp and order your free CD today.
