A lot of talk lately about RIAA and their aggressive attack against the P2P file sharers, and how file sharing's glory days are coming to an end. I think it'll die off in a couple months, because the truth of the matter is this: CD prices haven't moved, and the quality of the music out there hasn't improved either! Until the RIAA gets that information through their brains, the P2P file sharers will only find new ways to share music between. Take Blogs for example, If anyone's interested in sharing files, let me know, and we can swap lists - I'll be happy to give out my list of files in return for yours - set up a secure FTP area for us, and we can swap! How can the RIAA attack that?
I know there are ways, but my point is this - there will always be some sort of sharing, be it via public or private methods - it can never go away. I've been saying this for almost two (2) years, RIAA - embrace file sharing, it's the only way!
