Anyone who owns an iPhone knows how crappy the headphones Apple gives you are, especially if you make the mistake of trying to make a call with them. Well, BassBuds exists to replace those rubbish things with something of a much higher quality.
Audio wise they are far better than my standard JBuds (with no mic) that I use every day. The BassBuds sound is far crisper with better highs and lows and require you to use less volume to get the same quality of sound.
I used the built in mic for a phone call on my iPhone and the sound was crisper than it was if I were to use the phone in the normal way. My wife was impressed with how good it sounded on our digital telephone system. You don't have to hold the mic to your mouth to be heard either which makes a big difference.
My only minor gripe is that the set I was sent was shiny silver/white instead of my normal black. A bit garish for my tastes but the buds are available in black as well.
The head-phones come in a nice case with more rubber ear inserts that you can imagine. All in all, they are a very good product that I would not hesitate to recommend to those looking for a replacement set of headphones for their iPhone or smartphone.
