downloading now man!
2 - Eric Berlin
Thanks Duke -- looking forward to hearing the feedback... this one was birthed painfully, I'm afraid (which I explain a bit on the show) so 'twould be lovely to hear what people thought.
New rule: If I start serious work on a show at 2 pm, it means I'll be up until 2am, then up the next morning and working feverishly 'till 2 pm to finish up. Especially when I have to re-record the whole bloody thing.

listenin now man!
aw hell, those grinding chords just get me every time!!!!
4 - Eric Berlin
That's courtesy of those fine gents from Apash, Italian alt-rocker phenoms if you ask me.

only thing i noticed that was unpleasant thus far, is the intro music was way too loud for to better hear mr berlin's wonderful yackery.
once the ska tune kicks in though, that problem is erased. the goodfellas stuff is wonderful. i say it loads man, but the enthusiasm you got in that voice, thats just infectious as hell.
im lovin it, lovin it, lovin it.
and that ska number rocks.

Thanks as always Duke.
I had some major techie-tyoe difficulties which caused me to have a bad mix of music/vocals during the first segment. It thankfully gets better after that, hopefully.

"theres traffic imbedded in my brain!"
hahahahahaha
8 - Eric Berlin
Sadly, that might be the last Traffic Report DB Radio will provide for some time.
Big big changes in store for the little podcast that could -- mostly having to do with chopping down on the length and further streamlining the format.
9 - Aaron, Duke De Mondo
aw man, i LOVE the traffic reports!!!!
an aside from the levels trouble, this is as wonderful as ever, man. fantastic.
an i know the horrors of re-recordin an so on. the mondo 8 i just flung up is a damn travesty as far as im concerned. hopefully it'll improve next week.
but this is wonderful.
10 - Eric Berlin
Thanks Duke. You'll likely inspire me to bust out the laptop the next time I'm stuck in traffic going up the damnable Cajon Pass.
And Mondo #8 is up? Damn... I need to get up on that!

Traffic report? I really do have to listen don't I? Too busy writing and listening at the same time - which I can't usually do so don't know why I keep trying to do both at once.
12 - Aaron, Duke De Mondo
an i totally agree with the music thing. interest gets perked up beyond reason.
it took the libertines an selfish cunt etc to drag me back into the notion that yeah, things are exciting again.
its mind blowing, this podcasting malarkey, and it happens to click at a time when flicks and music are as good as they've ever fuckin been.
excitin times.

BEST SPONSER MESSAGE EVER!!!
"I'm up for lickin stamps!!!"
14 - Aaron, Duke De Mondo
the cathode ray banter is great. great idea to bring on the loser chappie. jus sounds like a cool conversation tween two tv geeks. which it is! and it rules!

temple - writin and listenin is indeed difficult. i know your pain. its why i waited till now to fling on DB 5. i been up to the nuts in paperwork, an a fella needs to hear these things.
16 - Temple Stark
Listening to spoken word and writign is difficult is what I mean. Music and writing usually works well together, I think. Sometimes not.
Paerwork? Paper mache dolls of K. Dunst i'm guessing.
17 - Aaron, Duke De Mondo
haha that wouldn't be "work"
even music i find difficult to write alongside with. even when reviewing a record, i'll pause it for to type. Maybe cause i get so caught up in the lyrics, i might as well be listenin to spoken word.
Eric - that Circe Link track is fuckin gorgeous.
18 - Eric Berlin
Yeah Duke, it is. I think "Blue Bird Tatoo" will now be heard on every DB Radio outro segment.
I'm uniformly more productive when listening to music. Strangely though, when I'm in motion (walking, driving, etc.) I prefer spoken word. However, I'm beginning to really appreciate the podcasts that provide a good mix of both.
