This story is unbelievable. A man goes into Sam's Club and buys a computer. When he gets home and turns it on he finds child pornography on the hard drive. When he takes the computer back to the store his son tells the clerk he recognizes some of the kids in the pictures on the computer. He goes on to say he thinks he knows who did it.
One issue that remains right now is, how did the child pornography get on to the computer? Would anyone care to speculate on the different ways this could have happened? Or, is anyone familiar with a similar situation regarding the purchase of a new computer?
Here is the entire story.
SEATTLE - A dad says he bought a computer for his son only to find kiddie porn on the hard drove.
The computer came from the Sam's Club on Aurora Avenue in North Seattle. The regional manager of the chain called police on September 2nd.
"Supposedly, an individual purchased the computer which had already been opened," explained Scott Moss with the Seattle Police Department.
"He took the computer home and while setting it up with his son, he found pictures of child pornography on the computer," he said.
The man reportedly took the computer back to the store and got his money back.
A spokeswoman for the Sam's Club chain is apologizing to the family.
"This is extremely unfortunate," said Joloneda Stewart, "we are very sorry that this family had to endure this. It is also an isolated incident and it's something that has never happened at a Sam's Club location previously."
According to the police report, the clerk took the computer, taped it up and gave the man his money back.

Where is the rest of the story? How is this post different from a pure commercial -- in this case for your other site?
We have very few rules for posters here, but one is that you post the entire story.

Yes, we need the whole story - all of the linking information and marketing of the home site is perfectly fine and even encouraged, but we have to do that in conjuntion with posting the whole story here.

Kudos to RT DeMarco for his handling of this issue -- he responded quickly and well.

This has all the graspable credibility of a poodle in a microwave which had your toothbrush up its ass.
However, if it keeps stupid people from buying computers and hooking up to the internet, I say it should be sent to all your friends and relatives.

I do hope you intend to share your findings with the rest of us. It would be more convenient, however, if you could sort them into the belief categories of "cheque is is the mail" and "won't come in your mouth".
thanks, that'll make things much easier.
